Strange good

Renowned German DJ and producer Boris Brejcha has joined forces with long-term collaborator Ginger on new single ‘Spicy’, out 2nd April via Ultra.
A melodic techno track that’s fizzing with refined dancefloor energy, ‘Spicy’ combines driving snares, delicate piano chords and Ginger’s fleeting vocals as it gracefully builds in intensity throughout. The track marks the first in a line of singles planned throughout the rest of 2021, culminating in the release of Boris Brejcha’s new album in November.

Being never the one to shy away from building bridges, DJ Gigola situates her upcoming EP “Bigroom Sensual” somewhere in the empty space between early 2000s technoid sounds and the harder, faster rhythm of a new generation of dancers – both of which fill big rooms in their own distinct ways.
 
In a series of EPs, the Berlin-based DJ and producer envisions a type of Bigroom that blends the feeling of 2001-2010 Trance Techno, minimalist swaying Tech-House and the current wave of ubiquitous high-energy sound, united by her signature soundscape and the meandering subline of her caressing vocals.
 
Caught between the lines, the launch of the “Bigroom Sensual” series is an attempt at reconciliation, mediating the supposed disconnect between Gen-Z Rave and Boomer Tech-House where both come best together: on the dancefloor, repurposing the big room as a place of reunion.

Wake Me Up (Tale Of Us Remix)

So, it has been a while since we conducted our last refurbishment assignment, Matt Darey's 'Nocturnal Delight' & Nu NRG's 'Freefall' were the last in the very selective series of throwback tracks getting the K&T treatment.

This time we pay homage to the classic Armin take on Yahel's record Devotion, from back in 2000 on Cyber records.

We are not quite sure what we will be doing with this exactly, as you will hear it stays very true to the vibe Armin created, it has been a feature in our streams over the last few months, various versions.
