When I behold the wonders of Your hand,
Your majesty and grandeur breaking through,
I'm humbled by the power of Your work, Lord,
And bow with reverence to You.

When I behold the details of the earth,
The strokes of care that brush through every hue,
Reminded that I am so very small, Lord,
Why do I hold back Lord from You?

Why did You make this vast amazing place?
Why do You send us harvests full and sweet?
Why do You render so much love and care, Lord?
Oh Lord, why do you care for me?

Why did You come to live a life on earth?
Why did You die for me on Calvary?
Why did You seek me out when I was lost, Lord?
Why do You love Lord even me?

For many years I held back Lord from You,
Reserving cherished places in my being.
But now my heart is softened by Your love, Lord,
Come in, oh Lord make home in me.

I’m opening more than one little part.
I’m opening my whole heart up to You.
Do all that’s in Your heart concerning me, Lord,
I’m not afraid, Lord I have You.

Lord gain the worshipers that you desire,
The ones who worship in reality.
Oh work Yourself into my being until, Lord,
True worship Lord is gained for Thee.
