Ubuntu Beats is an African duo (Sean Cilliers & Steve South), hailing from Cape Town but these days based in London & Portland respectively. Long time house music lovers at heart, we combine a combination of soulful and uplifting techno and progressive beats. 

Every month we aim to release a new mix tape, not only from ourselves but also guess artists from around the globe.

Bio
JC's passion for music developed from an early age, with a keen interest and an established place as an artist in the jungle/dnb scene. His history as an MC and Promoter saw him feature on lineups throughout London/South East and West. In the past 5 years his career as an artist has changed direction, not only in format as a DJ but also in the genre and style he plays. 

As his love and passion for House and Techno music has developed, his career as a DJ has gone from strength to strength. With features on line ups alongside artists such as Mousse T and the House and Garage Orchestra, as well as appearances at world famous Ibiza clubs Eden and Es paradis, his style is unique and diverse. Citing influence from bass culture, you can often find him alongside sparring partner CK. His sets include elements of bass/ tech house, progressive house and techno and always take you on a wild journey.
