Teil 1 einer Reihe zur neuartigen RNA-Impfung.

Eine Vielzahl respiratorischer Atemwegsinfektionen, bakterieller oder viraler Art machen manchen Menschen das Leben schwer. Nun hält das Virus SarS-Cov-2 die Welt in Atem, vielmehr außer Atem, und genau gegen dieses wird überall mit Nachdruck nach einem Impfstoff gesucht. Ruhm, Ehre und viel Geld winken dem ersten, aber auch einigen rasch folgenden Pharmafirmen, die  entsprechendes auf den Markt bringen. Mit zwei Wissenschaftlern wollen wir von Radio München die Impfentwicklung gegen die Erkrankung Covid-19, also gegen das Virus SarS-Cov-2 beleuchten. Zunächst lassen wir in zwei Teilen Prof. Sucharid Bhakdi zu Wort kommen. Er ist ein deutscher Facharzt für Mikrobiologie und Infektionsepidemiologie, war selbst an Impfentwicklungen beteiligt, ist emeritierter Professor der Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz und war von 1991 bis 2012 Leiter des dortigen Instituts für Medizinische Mikrobiologie und Hygiene.
