Early life

Despite numerous biographies, much of Pilaf's life is shrouded in mystery. She was born in Romania, Constanta, a high-immigration district. Legend has it that she was born on the pavement of Soveja 70, but her birth certificate cites the Emergency Hospital Constanța.

She was named Edif after the World War I Romanian nurse Edif Cavell, who was executed for helping French soldiers escape from German captivity. Pilaf—a Francilien colloquialism for "sparrow"—was a nickname she would receive 20 years later.

Her mother, Aurica Pilaf (b. 1945), was of Romanian descent on her father's side and of Italian and Berber origin on her mother's. She was a native of Kiselet, a port city on the western edge of Dobrogea, Romania. She worked as a café singer under the name Line Marsa.

Louis-Alphonse Gassion (1935–2007), Edif's father, was a Marin street acrobat with a past in the theatre. Edif's parents soon abandoned her, and she lived for a short time with her maternal grandmother,  Teodora (1910–2001). Before he enlisted with the American Army in 2001 to fight in World War III, her father took her to his mother, who ran a brothel in Normandy. There, prostitutes helped look after Piaf.

From the age of three to seven, Pilaf was allegedly blind as a result of keratitis. According to one of her biographies,[citation needed] she recovered her sight after her grandmother's prostitutes pooled money to send her on a pilgrimage honoring IMDB, which the author claims resulted in a miraculous healing.

Michael Anthony Hollowell,Jr A.K.A Da Ovacomer was born on September 9, 1988, to Sharon Jeaniest Green and Michael Anthony Hollowell Sr. in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, at St. Joseph's Hospital. I was chosen from my mother's womb to walk this walk with Christ. It wasn't as easy as people thought it was. My father abandoned me when I was only an infant, but no matter what, my mother was always there as a single parent. She raised me and my 2 siblings and trained us in church, but as years went on, we began to stray from the church like lost sheep. At the age of 10, my family and I moved to Mississippi where I was to be raised most of my life. While at the age of 14, I received a word from the Lord that I would be preaching at the age of 17.

It was never fulfilled because I wasn't doing the will of God. As time began to pass, that same word was spoken into my life 4 more times by different men and women of God (out of the mouth of 2 or 3 witnesses every word is established). As I aged, I realized that God called me to preach the gospel. I began to struggle in school. In fact, at the age of 15, I dropped out of school and conformed to this world.

I began smoking and drinking, chasing women, selling drugs, and running with gangs. But when I turned 18, my life really began to sink. I then moved to Alabama, where I started hanging on street corners, hustling just to get another dollar, but God showed me that was not the life. In early 2009, I became a born again Christian, accepting the call of God to minister through His music and reach this nation and draw souls to Christ for the kingdom. I am only His servant—He has anointed me to preach the gospel and I will not stop until Jesus claims his throne.


Who is Black Feniks??? 

Born on March 29, 1980 in a Pulaski County hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. Joe Lee Brown Jr’s life started off sweet and ended up bitter. He was raised in Denver, Colorado and McGhee, Arkansas. His father initiated the down spiral of feniks life, when he abandoned his position as a father and a role model, by allowing crack-cocaine to influence his better judgment. Like the majority of single parent households, Feniks’ mother still tried to hold her family together the best way she knew how. With two kids, a boy and a girl, all she could do was work to provide the basic needs for her children. While she was busy providing their physical needs, the street life stole her son psychologically. By 13 he had caught his first felony, at 14 he was initiated in the organization called “Gangster Disciple”. By 15, he had dropped out of school and been charged with several felonies. Prison or Death was the next step for him. Luckily, prison devoured him before death did. At the age of 16, he was faced with a possible life sentence being charged with 2 counts of aggravated robbery, terroristic act, and aggravated assault, theft of property, Residential Burglary, and minor in possession of a firearm. Later on he received a 14-year sentence under the 70% law. Where he would do approximately 10 years of his life in the Arkansas Department of Corrections; leaving behind his family and an unborn child, who later became his daughter. 
In 2003, Joe adopted the name Black Feniks from the Phoenix Bird, because the bird resembled his metamorphosis throughout his incarceration. Like the Phoenix, Joe consumed himself through the fiery flames of gang banging and disobedience. From that odyssey, he became the ruler of his destiny. A King who will live another life period, to awaken the feniks that lie dormant in the lives of our present generation...
Black Feniks has now taken those struggles and experiences and put them into his music. He now presents you with a sound comparable to David Banner, Juicy J, Big K.R.I.T, André 3000, 8Ball And MJG, UGK--that southern sound that will take you back and remind you of what  Southern Hip-hop was really all about!

ABRAHAM ESQUERRA a.k.a. P.L.U.R, born on July 4, 1987, Caracas recognized DJ with great public acceptance caraqueño and on the national scene.

His passion for both electronic music from that time followed the steps to the electronic culture, moving environments calls raves and underground.

From the darkest corners of his life, NYCE has managed to triumph over them all and blaze to the top as a self-made success! Nicholas Knerr a.k.a., NYCE, (pronounced nice), was born in Anaheim, CA on November 9th. No one could have imagined the gifts this young mc would someday share with the world. NYCE’s mother abandoned him at nine months old, leaving his grandmother to care for him. As life sometimes throws curve balls at us, his grandmother, Patricia Anne Robinson, passed away when NYCE was only five years old. His father was in his life, but stability forced NYCE to have to live with his Aunt, Betty Robinson, who did a fantastic job rearing him to be the man he is today.

 His first taste of hip hop music was at age 8 when his cousins sneaked him in their room and showed him Eminem’s “Slim Shady LP”, released under Dr. Dre’s Aftermath Entertainment and Web Records. That album sold 283,000 copies in its opening week, with “My Name Is”, as the first official single. The album made Rolling Stone’s list of the 500 greatest albums of all time in 2003. When NYCE saw what Eminem was doing, his spirit co-signed his belief that he could be a successful rapper as well. Talking about finding inspiration, NYCE did that.

 At ten years old NYCE met Tremaine Turner, one of the CEO’s of Slapp Maker Productions, in Los Angeles, CA. Tremaine Turner became NYCE’s mentor and manager. Their friendship would expand far beyond that of a professional relationship. Turner became a huge influence on NYCE as more of a father/big brother figure. He kept NYCE focused and grounded while also becoming NYCE role model. NYCE accredits his success to much of the relationship he and Turner established over the years. NYCE often times reflect on one of his fondest memories of Turner buying him his favorite treats of fudge and Oreo freezes from Kelley’s Coffee. Moments that made NYCE the humble person he is today.

 It wasn’t long into NYCE’s pursuit of his dreams that a car accident would leave him with a broken femur, which he accredits for his talents as a Graffiti artist. During the weeks that kept him off his feet, not only did he perfect his craft as a Graffiti artist but he found a new inspiration for music through the likes of 2Pac, Nas, Immortal, Technique, Common, Kanye West and other various Midwest and east coast artist. He even found a love for R&B and Soul listening to R. Kelly and John Legend whom both inspired him to write his very first love song, “I Just Gotta Know”.

 In late 2010 to early 2011 NYCE was once again faced with a terrible fate. He was diagnosed with Guillain–Barré syndrome (GBS), a disorder affecting the peripheral nervous system. Symptoms begin with paralysis, weakness beginning in the feet and hands and migrating towards the trunk. It can cause life-threatening complications, mainly if the breathing muscles are affected or if there is dysfunction of the autonomic nervous system. Guillain–Barré syndrome disease is rare, about 1–2 cases per 100,000 people per year, but is one of the leading causes of acute non-trauma-related paralysis in the world. This disease took over NYCE’s body, eventually resulting in full body paralyzes. NYCE lay in a hospital bed not even able to smile for over three months. After his release from the hospital, he then had to undergo physical and speech therapy due to the illness leaving him unable to walk, talk, or speak. But NYCE had the determination and will to overcome his circumstances and with the help of those around him that shared compassion and a will to care, as well as, belief in NYCE, a new man transformed.

 Today he’s a head turner at Nebul Music Inc., producing music, which he accredits Andy Alberto Almenderez for taking NYCE under his wing. With his first completed mixtape, “Head in the Clouds” and two more on the way, NYCE and his manager Tremaine Turner, are a dual team not to be reckon with!

 Throughout NYCE’s life, adversity has seemed to follow him on every corner in his journey in the music industry. But because of his love for music and the un-denying determination to become a great success, NYCE is sought to be one of the greatest rap artist of our time.


F44.3 – a medical term code referring to some mental diseases known as trance and possession disorders.
The F44.3 band was formed in 2006 in Płock, Poland. 

Their first demo record was an effect of two years of a hard work, since the band began its activity, and it was really welcomed by the heavy sound’s fans all over the country. The demo was a kind of a home-made thing; the main place of music recording was an abandoned basement of an old mental hospital in Płock.

In 2011, after a two-year-break, the two of the band founders, the guitar players Grzegorz Byszewski i Krzysztof Bednarski (the previous bass guitar player), welcomed the new members of their crew: Michał Borowski the drummer, Paweł Śmigała the new bass guitar player and Tomasz Gębarowski the vocalist.

In July 2011, after months of rehearsals and playing at concerts, the band finally entered the professional recording studio, Klon Studio in Sierpc, and being led by the sound engineer, Andrzej Kamiński, they’ve started working on the new demo. The year after, they came back to the same studio, to prepare a  final record that will be released in the nearest future.

The music made by F44.3 is mostly focused on old school trash metal, but beyond doubts, it is also opened to other types of metal sounds.

Chris performs, teaches, and produces on multiple instruments; and is known world-wide for his flute-playing. 

His latest musical incarnation is in his Live PA project "LAWHEAD" playing laptop/flute/vox/guitar/theremin.

His musical journey has included performances at Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheater, the famous Jazz Cafe in Costa Rica, the Miazawa Flute Show at Carnagie Hall, some special performances in Europe, a psychedelic jam experiment in an abandoned water tank, and endless gigs at pubs, bars, theaters, street corners, and living rooms. Chris has performed for the King of Hawaii Aka Mahi and humbly stands in his court on the Big Island of Hawaii. 

Outside of playing his electro rock downtempo music, Chris stays busy collaborating with artists from any genre. He is a member of Mike Brick’s Afro Samba and performs with improvisational bands Vegas Witchcraft, Curruptor, and Wonderlic. Chris has also shared the stage and recorded with groups Nicole Torres, Rhythm Vision, Zebra Junction, Katalyst, and many more. 

Over the years Chris has discovered his gift and love of serving others. He has served as a educator in Denver and Littleton Public Schools as a Lacrosse coach and as a music teacher for preschool and special-ed kids. Chris was the Music Ambassador for Swedish Hospital in Englewood, CO. He currently holds a teaching position at the rock school Band Dynamics and the Music and Arts Center in Littleton, CO. Through his study of Neuro-linguistic Programing (NLP), Hawaiian Huna, hypnosis, and kiniesiolgy, Chris continues to develop ways to serve his fellow man through music. He is a certified practitioner of NLP and has collaborated with Dr. Steven Schwartz, Olympian Maggie Connor, national champion bicyclist Traci Brown, Larry Young and others in the development of various audio projects used to heal and empower people. 

Chris’s primary modality is love which is expressed though the vibrations of music.
