Jay “Blue Jay” Jourden is a world-renowned producer and musical/vocal artist as well as an accomplished concert promoter/performer having worked on and help organize major concerts for The American Indian Movement AIM, Wounded Knee & The Longest Walk, The No Nukes Concert Series, Disaster Relief 96', The 40th Anniversary of Woodstock 1969-2009 “West Fest”, and many, many, more.

Currently signed with Global Film Studio, he has also just been voted on to their Advisory Board. Global Film Studio is a socially active, major international film company, under internationally acclaimed director Bruno Pischiutta and producer Daria Trifu, Global Film Studio is currently in pre-production of several films in Greece and other parts of the world, as well as a thirteen-part television series in the UK, addressing important socially significant issues, affecting changes in global thinking, and all done without the “Hollywood Standard” gratuitous sex and violence “norm”.

Currently producing the International Music Video Project for “WORLD FREEDOM SONG (Together We Are One)” whereby musicians and artists from every country on the planet are being represented, he’s organizing the music and arts world globally to create The International World Freedom Music & Arts Expos on six continents.

I was born in Athens. When I was 13 years old, I bought my first guitar, a small classical one, and after 3 years I wrote my first musical piece. Since then, I have worked with several bands as a guitar/bass player. Beautifull years the "Soul Spirits" years,great band,great time,great performances , great friends of mine.In 2004, I built a small studio and I began to record my music. So far(April2007) I have recorded two albums( LPs), playing all the instruments myself. Small parts of the first album named "Tears Like Rain" are included on this site. It is a 40 minute piece of music comprising two parts. The second album , named “Justice Tree”, which is also 40 minutes long and comprises 5 parts. Excerpts from it are also included on this site. To all my albums i write music about what i see and what i feel around me. The tracks in all the albums are connected each other. (March 2009) The new album (LP) named "Decline Days" is out now. What i feel and what i see now around me, is what the tittle saying for sure these days. (June 2010)"ILIA"The new small limited edition(EP)album is deticated to the most importand person on earth for me,my daughter ILIA, on which all the tracks belongs to her from me. (March 2012) The 5th album is ready under the name "ANAMOR".Comes from the greek word Anamorfosis.Its a 50 minutes piece of music comprising eight parts. Thank you all...

Artist Profile : 
At the age of 6 I began to play the piano. After four years I started to read and write music a musician was born. By 14 I was given my first guitar I was hooked on Rock music. By age 16 while doing a sound check at a club in Canada I met with Myles Goodwyn and Brian Greenway from April Wine , little did I know I was becoming a professional musician . I was fortunate to meet up with Michael Schenker from UFO later that year, he helped me to develop the drive of a metal guitarist having toured in Europe and the United States for almost 7 months it was almost surreal for a 17 year old. After becoming a session artist with musicians like Terry Bozzio, Steve Vai ,Jeff Beck and several other incredible musicians . My playing has evolved and continues to do so. The energy of the fans feeds my appetite to give more powerful shows and studio sessions and hopefully will for a long time to come.
