Came across this work in my files I realized had never been posted. Completed December 2019 (3 Months Prior to the COVID-19 Shut downs in Canada). It is a humorous commentary on different viruses and asks its listeners to "Get Vaccinated!". Very fitting considering our current state, a year and a half after it was created. Please enjoy.

I Told You So -Kathryn Ladano

A few months ago, I noticed something peculiar about the walk home from my old job. As I approached and left Uptown Waterloo, I started to recognize a form to the soundscape of my walk. Nocturne is a work that reflects the soundscape I observed. I chose not to depict the elements of the soundscape literally, but instead chose to use musical gestures that give the impression of sound objects like traffic and footsteps.

Recent work has challenged conventional concert experiences with interactive sculptures, sound games, and activities that empower audiences to self determine their own experience.
