[Story]
	After a long, tiring bout, King Dedede’s strings snap and his unconscious body tumbles to the floor. The storm calms down slowly, and the worn out beast falls from the ramparts of the arena. “Guh… You can’t… be serious…” The beast is breathing heavily. Kirby and his friends pick up Dedede and begin making their escape.

But, before they can take so much as a step, the wind picks up, and the sky darkens once more. “Ahhh man… I messed up…”, the beast says. “Hey. You. Poe.” Poe pauses. “Take your friends and go this way to the gondola…” A door on the arena walls opens, and stairs lead up out of the fort. Poe looks at Kirby and Bandana Dee. They both nod, pick up King Dedede, and follow Poe to the exit. “And Poe… Just so you know…” Poe turns one last time to the beast. “I was against it… Just so you know… I was…” The looming black hand appears above. “I know, Mondo…” He turns and races off with Kirby and co., boarding the gondola that trails off into the sky. The hand encases Lonestar…

King Dedede wakes to the whizzing of gears in the gondola. Kirby and Bandana Dee breathe a sigh of relief. “Where have ah been? What’s goin’ on here?! Kirby, Bandana Dee, and… who's this lil fella?” Poe is quiet and distant, looking back at the now blotched out Lonestar. Kirby and Bandana Dee catch him up to speed. Then, the gondola grows quiet… “Sorry… I…” Poe begins. “I’m one of them. I was outcast when the first storm hit him and you guys were blown away and… They… They didn’t want me.” Everyone is quiet, all eyes fixated on Poe. “I’m so sorry. Not much I can do now…” Poe cries to Kirby and the gang. King Dedede bellows a loud laugh, startling Poe! “Don’t worry lil’ fella. If Kirby’s keepin’ ya around, you’re one of us now! Ha ha! Ha!” Kirby and Bandana Dee nod in agreement. “Th-thank you… everyone… Thank you so mu-” The gondola slams to a halt. They’ve arrived, and Kirby peers out of the gondola.

They find themselves in the stratosphere. Thick clouds spread out as far as the eye can see, and a familiar floating vessel floats in the distance, far away from where they’ve arrived. The Halberd! Kirby points and alerts everyone! Poe, feeling bold, floats out of the gondola onto the clouds. It’s time to get a move on. Journey through the cloudlands of the Skyglade, Kirby and co.! To the Halberd!
