If a track you submitted does not appear in this list, it’s probably because another of your tracks appeared in our Fresh Faves or on the BBC Music Introducing Mixtape during the last three months — we ask that artists featured on either wait three months before resubmitting to give others a chance. 

We also don’t accept short previews or SoundCloud Go tracks that can only be heard as 30 second previews, and tracks made private after submission, which cannot be included in playlists. This song is about what time and the ocean take from us. I imagined forgotten empires and memories buried deep beneath the waves—stone faces eroded by years, love and power both fading into silence. It’s a reflection on how everything we build, even the strongest things, eventually returns to the sea. But underneath the loss, there’s still a question echoing through the darkness: do the ruins remember us, and do they still feel what we once felt?

Alchemy - ‘a seemingly magical process of transformation, creation, or combination’

The Three Alchemical Principles of the band are Sulphur, Mercury & Salt and the magic & chemistry happened during lockdown 2020. The aim of alchemy is both spiritual and physical, we have made balance, and in that made music.

The 3 Principles

Salt - The Salt represents the Body of a thing. It is the receptacle for the energies of Mercury and Sulfur. This neutral energy resides in the salts of the material you work with in the lab, both soluble and insoluble. Salt contains the elements Water and Earth. The receiving of the influences of the Soul which are transmitted through the spirit occurs through the element Water.

Sulfur - The Sulfur is the Male, active energy of the universe. For us it represents the Soul. It resides in the essential oils of the material you work with in the lab.

Mercury - The Mercury is the passive, Female energy of the universe. It unites with the Sulfur to produce a Manifestation, whatever that may be (whatever you are trying to create). This energy resides in the alcohol of the material you work with. In order for the energies of Life to transmit their influence into matter, Mercury is needed: It contains the Air of Life and the Water of Matter.
