Grey Matter 01 // Launch Mix // Buckley 

Kicking off terrace proceedings this Saturday is Buckley. He has been immersed in club culture for years now, living abroad in different cities exposing him to different strains of club culture. After many years honing his style and technical skills, he decided to push himself to make his first club appearance. Expect house,deep house and minimal from the get-go. Here’s a quote from the man himself: 

"Me and lads go way back. Im delighted to be given the opportunity to play at Grey Matter 01, really looking forward to saturday, good energy with good people" 

For this mix he lays down some smooth minimal house tracks accompianed by disco inspired groves. This makes for 50 minutes of selections filled with clean transitions and feel good house rhythms. Buckley plants in an assortment of well recognisable tracks with the aim to get the crowd moving on the night.

We look forward to him pressing play and kicking off the party this Saturday.

Blancnoir is a duo consisting of Andrew Guilfoyle and Seán Connaughton. Both are 23 years of age and from Artane, North Dublin. They have quickly established themselves in the underground music scene, playing in some of the top clubs in the country including Index, Button Factory, Bow Lane Social Club and The SoundHouse. 

Andy has 3 years’ experience playing in the club circuit. He has fostered a deep passion for minimal sounds and has  supported artists such as Josh Butler, The Willers Brothers and Andrew Azara. 

Seán early background in music combined with a developed understanding of mix theory has facilitated his quick take to the scene. 

The pair have been close friends for over 10 years. The decision to join forces under the one banner came after several successful b2b performances. Moving forward they are keen on pushing the sounds through live shows and music production.
