Tom Baker is an ambitious and creative Acoustic artist who has the passion and enthusiasm to represent the South West as one of the stand out musicians to follow. His drive and determination doesn't overshadow his undoubted talent and after numerous television and radio appearances as well as frequent festival bookings, his career is certainly gathering momentum.

His ability to write, record & deliver vocals were finally noticed world wide and he was then asked to sign to the #1 Global publishing firm… ‘Notting Hill’. 

Still determined to show his ambition… 
2015 saw Tom pen many an original track, writing a full album of varied original music, from up beat blues, self help tracks & passionate love songs to then producing his own style of Nu, Funk, Soul Disco House material which then lead to developing his own DJ production alias:  - ‘T L X’ 

During 2016, whilst gigging frequently at pubs, clubs & festivals across the regions, Tom then decided it was time to record his debut EP with UK Producer, Josiah Manning (The Kris Barras Band) on home turf @ 'Momentum Studios' which then projected his original Dance & Acoustic music to be played live on air with BBC Introducing, Radio 1/Extra, Capital FM, Heart FM & many more independent streaming services including NUB sessions, Green Light Unplugged (MacMillan Cancer Charity) & Plymouths own Hospital radio. 

2018 and gaining recognition throughout Europe, Tom started writing lyrics and delivering his versatile vocals for A list producers including the likes of Gorgon City, Yolanda be cool, Calvin Harris, Deadmou5, Rita Ora, Dizzy Rascal, Benni Benassi, Carl Cox and also Korean Pop giants, BTS. 

Tom was finally rewarded with the opportunity to audition and represent the UK for the Eurovision Song Contest. 

Whilst still releasing music internationally, BBC Introducing also favoured Tom's vocal ability, tipping him as one to watch in 2019, rewarding him with the coveted upload of the week in the following January and also featuring him live on BBC Radio Devon for an exclusive interview and live performances. 

2020 was a tough year for everyone during the pandemic. Whilst absent from the stage, Tom hosted multiple live streams and helped raise over £5,000 for local charities such as St Luke’s, Age UK, Mental Health UK & Cancer Research. Before restrictions were imposed, Tom was working alongside ‘Crown Entertainment’ & was performing up to 120 Weddings & corporate events a year across the UK with the multi award winning wedding entertainment Duo… ‘The Swing Kings’. 

After the pandemic was becoming more manageable and having lots of time away from performing… Tom decided it was time to take to the bigger stage… 

In November 2022, Tom was asked to take centre stage for one of the South West’s most highly anticipated 7 piece Mow-town, Funk & Soul Fusion Band - ‘The Urban Party Project’ who are now are currently headlining festivals, recording live studio performances & guesting around some of the South West’s most prestigious venues. 

Tom catapulted into 2023 with a booking schedule full of Corporate Events, Weddings, Football Stadiums, Festivals as well as fronting the South West’s Mow-town, Funk & Soul favourites: ‘The Urban Party Project’. 

Arriving into early 2024, Tom had his heart set on taking his music internationally…

Tom finally had the opportunity to take his music down under to Australia and deliver a full service of Live Acoustic Entertainment, Compère/Master of Ceremonies & DJ for a very special bride and groom. 

Work is also undertaken for Weddings, Corporate, Pub and Club bookings.
