Many have called without report but the clarion trumpets have finally answered in the form of pounding drums, vertiginous synthesizers, thunderous bass, ominous guitars, and guttural vocals telling stories intended to entertain, pontificate, shock, and inspire.

We're longer satisfied with the current state of Industrial music, or the world, and it's time for a new era.

Gone are the days of gothic disco perpetrators mewling their woes over trite beats and so the time has come for the old ways to come forth infused with the freshness of the current millennia because their era has rightfully passed.

And that shit is whack.

Iconoclast//Messiah, helmed by Preykonis, is here and gathering strength for the first offensive since the road ahead is riddled with peril. In this new millennia it's not violence we need to fear but the human mind itself guided by plutocrats using the folly of youth and massive media networks to indoctrinate the masses with regressive motivations.

Know your past and see your future. Music can be a guide to deciphering the madness of what we see around us in these uncertain times. We know where the new traditions took us and it's the right moment to get back on the more effective path of the old ones before the next cataclysm arrives. Buying our debut album "Praesagium" is not an investment in Iconoclast//Messiah but rather it's a stake in striking a hard blow against the corruption intrinsic to the current system of global domination.

Hip Hop in its truest form dwells in New Orleans and goes by the name of Paasky. He embodies the culture of hip hop from his appearance to his musical delivery.  Paasky is a break from the mold of what one has come to know a New Orleans rapper to be. Born Rashad Kelly, Paasky grew up during the Cash Money era and is greatly inspired by their success. The reality that someone from New Orleans actually made it big is what gave Paasky the drive and passion to rap.

In a time where it seems everyone is rapping for a hustle, Paasky is true to the art and conscious of the messages he sends through lyrics.  Since the release of his debut mix tape Suggested Retail in 2011, he’s released 2 mix tapes a year while consistently delivering powerful punch lines and thought provoking metaphors laced with a slight east coast flair.  Paasky has worked with notable artists such as Currensy, Raj Smoove, 3D Natee, Kourtney Heart, Nesby Phips and the super producers Flight School just to name a few.  His talents supersedes underground and have allotted him the chance to open up for the likes of the legendary Slick Rick, Bun B, Rich Homie Quan, BIG K.I.R.T. and Big Sean just to name a few.    



From photo shoots to videos, Paasky’s dedication to preserving the culture and hip hop excellence are evident in the visual he releases.  Impeccably fly, his keen fashion sense scored him recognition from Complex Magazine in 2013 as one of the Top 10 Most Stylish Rappers in New Orleans.  Paasky holds down the underground hip hop scene in New Orleans with such reverence, it has gotten him nominated for Best Male Artist and Best Mix Tape at every NOLA Hip Hop Award show to date.


Rufus and P met 7 years ago in Munich, Germany at a gig they had been separately booked to perform at- Rufus as singer and P as rapper. A cosmic nudge resulted in the two artists doing an impromptu performance together that made the crowd go wild (cliché but true). Right from their first meeting it was clear that they had a creative synergy that needed to be explored. Years later, and with a strong friendship, Rufus and P have written and produced countless songs together with the same aim which is to spread as many good vibes as possible through their music. 
From a young age, Rufus has been performing to large audiences beginning his career with the Walt Disney World Company in a show called the Festival of the Lion King. In 2000 he moved to Hollywood, Florida where he worked with Mark Groff, the famous vocal coach who worked with NSYNC and Backstreet Boys. Always hard working, Rufus landed a hit with the song "Fly Away" a side project he did with JCA aka Jean Claude Ades. This track was number one in several countries including China, Indonesia, Australia, and Brazil.
P is a rapper, singer, writer, producer and MC. A keen collaborator, who has consistently worked as a vocals artists, also for other producers or as songwriter for other artists. P is a dynamic live performer regularly booked as MC at clubs. Well known in the Hip Hop & R'n'B scene and especially in the Dance scene where he had different releases as artist and songwriter (e.g. on Kontor Compilations).
Rufus and P together have written and produced songs in Pop, Hip Hop, R'n'B, House and even Dubstep, but also combined all of those genres and created their own style: "R'n'P". Their charm, infectious energy and incredible talent make a tasty recipe. This duo is a celebration of positivity. Their music radiates light.

Headah Freaq is Spyros Sellas, a producer from the capital city of Greece, Athens, born in 1995. Started producing in November of 2010 and quickly developing his own sound, this artist has big ambitions for his future in Dubstep. Always had an interest in music from a young age, enchased by theoretical music knowledge and a variety of knowledge about playing a few music instruments. He is mostly influenced from genres like Hip Hop, Metal and Drum n’ Bass, as well as soundtracks from Thrillers and movies in general. Having been DJing with many well known DJ’s and crews and collaborating with respectable producers, this artist is keen to put his mark on the scene. Although his output is strictly Dubstep for the time being, his love of bass music means you can expect to hear a variety of styles and genres from him in the future.

The fourth performer was a product of England, although now residing in northern California.  Tony Alderman is an amazing guitar player with a soothing voice.  His songs were well written and delivered in a way that made you want to hear them over and over again.


In June 2005, I went into a studio and recorded a 10 song demo called ‘Over to You’. It received a warm welcome in Australia, most notably from ‘Faster/Louder’ magazine. 
Some of the songs from this demo, I recorded again at home, and put them on A Single Word and Ghost Town, and other LPs later on.

Australia has long produced some amazing artists that flit between country, folk and soul music. It’s what musicians like Paul Kelly and The Whitlams are able to do, combining music fused with beautiful melodies and lyrics charged with a real honesty and directness that see them get into people’s lives and go straight to their hearts.   Sydney’s Alderman has just released an album, Over to You that’s filled with all of these intimate and personal offerings. The album opener, I Don’t Love You is like a diary entry read aloud. But instead of using a notepad to jot his thoughts down, Alderman is using his acoustic guitar as his canvas to tell his stories of love, loss, pain and redemption.  This tone flows with such strength and conviction throughout the entire album that at first you feel that what’s being sung/spoken to you is too personal and maybe you shouldn’t be listening. But this frankness and honesty has such a purity to it, the album becomes a conversation between you and the singer.  It’s you and friend in a small city cafe, as the world rushes by frantically outside, you’re focused completely on what’s being said. And it’s this quality of everydayness to Alderman’s songs that make the album instantly accessible.  The instrumentation is delicate throughout, always in perfect balance with the melody. Over to You and Lee stand out among the many finely composed songs. There’s a lightness in the music that is counterpointed by what Alderman is singing about.  A peaceful collection of thoughts in song that offer respite and support, this is a tiny little gem and the perfect company when you just need to shut the world out and reflect.

What was the first song that you ever wrote called?
The first song that got finished properly(!) was called ‘some chick’, I wrote it in April 1991.

What’s your favourite song?
Of my own? Maybe ‘Not Changed At All’, I’ve got a soft spot for 'Bring On The Bromance' and ‘Vera’ as well...
Other peoples songs, just too many to name. I love ‘shelter of your love’ by Jimmy Cliff, wow.

How and when did you get started with music?
I loved singing at a young age, and I would write lyrics in my school books.
But it was my friend, Matt Poole that really got me started. We met in October 1988, he was in a band, and I was blown away. He definitely planted the seed, and he taught me the guitar. He also helped me with my first song writing attempts, most notably ‘some chick’, in a car, in Devon.

Were you ever in a band? What was it called?
Formed on 16th October 1992, (a bloomin’ brilliant day) “Electric Hedge” I was on vocals, Albert Tatlock was on guitar, Darren Bainbridge on Bass & Mark Lindow on drums. We had a blast, brilliant time, more beer (and things) than practice...

Any others?
Yeah, “Nutters on Nightnurse” early 1994. Chris joined us on drums, because Mark moved to Plymouth, and we had a different sound, so it was only right to change the name. Chris was awesome, so good, he made the rest of us work harder at our own thing. Cheers Chris!
“Mild Green Mango Chutney” may be my favourite however, we were a duo, myself and Albert. It was great. We supported John Otway a few times, he’s a nice fella. 

What was your first studio experience like?
It was with the most excellent Les Payne, at his studio in High Wycombe, UK. I had 11 songs that I wanted to record, and we spent a week in early October 2001, getting them down. I found out that I needed to practice LOTS more. It was a real eye opener, and Les is a lovely, lovely, (and VERY talented) man. Thanks mate.
He inspired me to practice, rehearse, play live hundreds of times, what a guy...
He was very encouraging, and I'll never forget him.

And your second?
A Sharp Studios in Sydney, Australia 2005. This was good to, and it was here that I decided to learn all this lark for myself. And so I did.
I’ve since learnt that I just can’t sing wearing headphones, so any studio attempts were lack lustre. Now I just wack the monitors up gently, and go for it...

You make your own records at home, how do you do it?
I use GarageBand and Logic Pro. The first two years were hard, and disheartening, as probably most musicians have found. 
I had to learn about mic placement, compression, EQ, (still am...) how to use my interface/pre-amp etc, and find the time to do it! It took over a year for me to move from ‘Behringer’ to ‘Pre-sonus’, and then in September ’08 I decided to stop being silly and get the Apogee Ensemble. 
Also I had to learn how to use/tame the sound of the room/s that I was using. It was endless, still is...
My wife and I have three young children, and I am the main carer, so finding the time and energy is a factor as well. Going to a commercial studio is just not a realistic option, so what I may lack in technical perfection, I think I make up for with heart. My first attempts were bloody terrible. But I kept at it, and here we are. 
One of the biggest challenges is sound from outside leaking into my mics. We’re not far from the airport, so planes feature quite a lot on my records...

What kind of guitar do you usually play?
An Ibanez dreadnought, the AW200. Gibson Jumbo 200. And I love to tinker around on my Telecaster...

Where are you from?
I was born in Paddington, London. I grew up in Gillingham and Chatham, Kent. I moved to High Wycombe when I was 19yrs old, (I quit my fishmongers job, a big step at the time) to go to college, (that’s a laugh...) and for some reason or other, have not sat still since. I lived in Australia for 4 years, and then Singapore for 5 years. Now my family and I live in California, we love it.


Where are your parents from?
My Mum’s from Dublin, my Dad’s from Northeast London.
Mums parents were from Sligo, Ireland. Dads were from Wales.

Nutshell...?
I'm a passionate singer, all about the love. I've played hundreds of live shows.
I'm used to playing under chaotic circumstances, and lovely serene settings as well. Though, more used to the former.
I don't play live much anymore, I prefer to write/record now.
I'm a 'stay at home Dad' with three lovely children. Hardest and best job I’ve ever had. Kids are getting older now, it's a funny old game.
A native Londoner, but don't hold that against me...
I make my own records at home, I love it.

Gai Toms (Guy Toms) is considered a strong and colourful thread in the Welsh language songwriting fabric. His current album ‘The Wild, the Tame and the Feral’ (Sept 2015) shows that he is very capable of coming up with the goods in English too. A talented self taught musician who learned his craft in grassroots music circles, now a prolific songwriter with a decent repertoire to his name. He is also the guitarist in Welsh alt rock band - Brython Shag. 

Co-founder member of the excellent ska-rock band - Anweledig (Invisible) and main man of the award winning folk concept - Mim Twm Llai, Gai Toms draws on his musical past, applying it to new works with a refined focus. Early songs are collage's of his post-industrial square mile while his latest songs are more diverse in content, expression and tenacity. Lyrics play a major role in Gai Toms’ music, usually dictating the music style. Styles vary from folk revival to indie rock, but he’s also not afraid of a bit of experimentation. Influences - Woody Guthrie, Meic Stevens, John Prine, Nick Cave, Gruff Rhys / SFA, PJ Harvey, Conor Oberst, Ty Segal, Tom Waits, Johnny Cash, Bjork, Tom Morello... and more!

Live, the Gai Toms band consists of top musicians who can raise the roof with up-tempo numbers as well as the hair on the back of your neck with the slower songs. Gai’s vocals are reminiscent of The Clash’s Joe Strummer, giving a punky edge to the whole experience. Solo acoustic sets are commonplace for Gai too. 

From toilet circuit gigs to festivals such as SXSW (Austin, Texas), Smithsonian Folklife Festival (Washington DC), The National Eisteddfod and Festival No.6. (Portmeirion, Wales) Gai Toms has embraced a range of experiences, and is yet hungry for more.
