A singer songwriter by nature, Shannon Marsyada has cultivated her craft since the age of 13, by bringing FEELINGS to audible life.
Shannon began recording albums at  the age of 14, her first album entitled Me. Her second album, Remember Today ( titled after a poem her brother wrote the year he passed) featured the class of 97 graduation song written by Shannon , These Years. Following several years later in 2008 , Shannon wrote and produced (with the help of Bruce Barre’  and her husband Michael, in Bruce’s home studio in NEPA ) The Ends of Me. This was her debut as a full producer, and her song Submission is still a featured tune on local DJ Alan K Stout’s Music on the Menu as well as other regional radio and college stations. Her fourth album, FOR YOU featuring the Shannon Marsyada Trio, has been recognized for its song, Where Dreams Come In,  by the New York Songwriters Hall of Fame.. where she won placement on their annual New Writers album in 2011.
Shannon’s also no stranger to performing. She’s been a feature at the Mauch Chaunk Opera House in JimThorpe, The Songwriters Circle in NY at the acclaimed Bitter End , Characters on Broadway NYC, Hard Rock Cafe Philadelphia, and many others. Her latest residency gig was at the formal dining venue, Four Blooms. She performs for weddings , events , and of course charitable events. Her 5th release Oceans , is her most recent endeavor and is available along with her other works for purchase NOW! Currently Shannon is working on her very first highly anticipated CHRISTMAS album, which will launch this year and includes the Trio reuniting for an unforgettable holiday experience! That brings her finished projects to a total of 6 albums to date . She is a songwriting force , and every endeavor is an adventure all it’s own. One of the favorite parts of her creative process, is to not only see the songs take their own life, but to see and hear the evolution of her music through every project, as her growth as an artist , musician , and songwriter is indisputable. 
Her lifetime commitment to the craft, and the hearts it touches , is where Shannon Marsyada’s GOLD is !
