Born in small rural area in Columbia, SC; Douglas "Feed-Back" Cox Learned to live outside the box and push the boundaries of a normal life. FB adapted to the new and harsh conditions of street life presented by Little Haiti. It was a constant struggle for money, being that he and his family had no other blood relatives living in the state and they were evicted nearly every year and forced to find other suitable living quarters. It wasn’t until his High School years that he came to meet his first passion, music. FB realized that though he had come from hard times surround by drugs, gangs, and crime, he did not have to subsume to the temptations and conditions of his environment. Instead, he could project the image of his surrounding s to an audience that constantly misjudges his poetic abilities. 
FB strived to achieve not only a conscious state of delivery but one with a vicious left hook. He aims to deliver a gritty tale, woven with one hundred percent truth, followed by devastating punchlines at every turn. Though he has been writing, and performing acapellas for nearly 9 years, FB is only a rookie when it comes to the industry. FB was signed to SC Heavy weight Devin Patrick's indie label (X-Rated Mafia Records) after a studio session booked in his studio, while only after dropping his first mixtape. This also got him a spot opening for major label artist Bubba SparxxX. Management and guidiance from Devin Patrick has helped FB broaden his talents, and expand his reach and knowledge across the state of SC. Currently working on his first commerical album, Eager to show the world what he has to offer, prepared to give his best, FB graces his audience with raw talent, aggression, and passion and looks forward to what the rest of his career has to offer...

By doing this we come to understand we can choose not our usual, painful unconscious habits but instead to live from a place of grounded awareness, free from suffering.  

Live awake is for all those devoted to their hearts, devoted to the soul behind their ribs that came here to grow and expand, to all those devoted to learning, respecting and honoring the ways they are being called to do so. 

It is a place where one can come to close their eyes and rest a while on their breath, and see all they trouble and toil alongside is truly a gold lined cloud, holding a message of great hope and learning cradled within it.

They have a mission and this is to induce music evoked by nostalgia and bringing back the rawness of psychedelic music.

As they gear up to celebrate 20 years of riotous marauding, the Dub Pistols are prepping their seventh as-yet-untitled album in 2017 and there’ll be a documentary about the band dropping at some point in the year, too. And they’ll be out on the road, as usual, of course — the hardest working band in showbiz.

A kinda 21st century equivalent of 2-Tone acts The Specials or The Beat, the Dub Pistols are the quintessential festival band. Coming over a bit like if King Tubby and The Skatalites bumped into Terry Hall at a Goldie gig, the Dubs have reached their two decade milestone with a lot of ups and downs along the way. 

They’ve worked with vocal legends like Rodney P, Busta Rhymes, Gregory Isaacs, Terry Hall, Lindy Layton, Akala and Horace Andy, while the band’s mainstays are fiercely loyal and dedicated. An unorthodox collective of musicians who each have their own personal interests and solo projects, when they come together to form the Dub Pistols some dubwise magic happens.

The rhythm section of Jack (drums) and Dave (bass) are granite-solid, and guitarist Andreas (or sometimes the rock & roll stand-in, Johnny Rockstar) provides all sorts of licks and skanking chords to nice up the dance. The brass section is on fire, and rapper Seanie Tee brings the mic skills to complement main man Barry Ashworth perfectly. They’re a proper gang of outlaws, rebels with a cause, renegade outsiders who know how to bring the good times. If you haven’t seen the Pistols yet
Barry might be the heart, face and mouth of the Dubs, but they are still very much a band — as tight as fuck, and yet able to cut loose to rock venues to the core. Tracks like epic drum & bass cut ‘Gunshot’, ska ditty ’Problem Is’, early beat-freak single ‘Cyclone’ and singalong anthem ‘Mucky Weekend’ have become firm fan favourites, and onstage see the band getting deep, down and dirty. With a nod to their ska influence, and the fact that Terry Hall was an honorary Dub Pistol for a few years, they still do a lively version of ‘Gangsters’ - The Specials’ first ever single. But otherwise it’s all their own work — the back catalogue is rich in flavas.

“The next album is actually a bit more chilled-out than the last two,” says Barry. “It’s still a classic Dub Pistols album, but ‘Return Of The Pistoleros’ and ‘Worshipping The Dollar’ were more club-orientated — leaning more towards peak-time bangers. This album is a bit more relaxed, with a smoked-out reggae vibe — although there are still a couple of bangers on there.”

The guests on the next album read like a who’s who of conscious styles. Dancehall dons Beenie Man and Cutty Ranks, reggae singer Earl16, young hip-hop act Too Many T's, seminal MCs Navigator and the Ragga Twins, and long-time collaborator Lindy Layton (and dope rapper Genesis Elijah??) all bring their unique talents. Some of these will be appearing with the Dubs live over the coming year as the band present a history lesson in all the different bases they’ve covered over the past two decades. With added bass!

Band members may have come and gone, but the progression of the core of the band is constant. “It’s never like everyone leaves at once,” says Barry. “People’s priorities change: they get married or have kids and the lifestyle isn't for them anymore, so they leave — but luckily not all at the same time. So someone new comes in, and suddenly it feels like a new band.”

There are layers to this reality and not everyone is awakened to them. We are here to illuminate the darkness and peel back the veil for all to see. Conscious Cartography has spawned to map the unconscious mind and reveal your true self-identity. Let the ego shed and get comfy, it's going to be a freeing, wild ride.

Gustavo Manfroni was brought up dedicating his time and interest completely to music. He's been playing the guitar since his early days. He played in 2 rock bands, up to the day when, during a trip to London, got in touch with the psychedelic trance music.

The interest in electronic music grew fast and, in the end of 1999, started buying softwares for producing music.

With an individual style focusing on strong warm basslines and textured, psychedelic leads, it breaks away from the standard full-on, representing a new, fresh direction in dancefloor music. 

He has gained recognition as one of the top live acts over the past few years. In 2016, Heidi has announced the relaunch of her Jackathon Jams label. After a short hiatus, the first release is a 3-track collaborative EP from DJ T. Vs Emanuel Satie featuring two new productions ‘Break Loose’ and ‘Feeling You’ featuring Joe le Groove, and a remix of ‘Break Loose’ by Kill Frenzy. The EP will be released on 1 April and will be the first Jackathon Jams release distributed via a new deal with !K7. Further releases will be revealed in the spring.

Heidi has worked hard over the past decade to make her mark on the new house and techno music generation. You only have to visit her worldwide brand of Jackathon parties and or listen to her BBC Radio 1 show to experience her passion for music and fiery nature. 

“It’s the way you bring it. If I stood there staring into a laptop and not looking at the crowd once, I could play all the hits and it would sound like shit because I wasn’t interested in it,” Heidi explained to the Independent newspaper in 2011, “I came from the dancefloor, I love dancing, it’s disappointing when you leave without a strong memory from the night, I want to finish it with an explosion.”
 
Her Jackathon parties were inspired by her youthful endeavors into house and techno music. Heidi heard its calls across the water growing up in Windsor, Ontario Canada, just across the border from Detroit. Relocating to London in 2000, she picked up her craft and deep expertise behind the counter first at Koobla Records, and in 2003 Heidi was part of the team that opened up London’s foremost record shop, Phonica.

“I started in 2004, then it kicked off during the summer of 2006. That’s when Get Physical were at their peak and the M.A.N.D.Y guys and DJ.T took me under their wing.“ After a brief stint in Berlin, Heidi was invited in 2008 to do her own BBC Radio ‘In New DJs We Trust’ show on a six month contract. She remains there to this day, now hosting her own ‘Radio 1's Residency’ on Thursday nights. 

“I’m very persistant. When I heard ‘In New DJs We Trust’ was finishing I made a conscious decision to move back to London because I was like “I need to be involved, I need to be as in-their-face as possible and say ‘Look I’m here and I’m dedicated, I want do something’”

In 2009 she started the Jackathon events at various nightspots across the globe. Both platforms allow her to invite her peers and compadres such as Richie Hawtin, Soul Clap, Solomun, Maceo Plex, Nicolas Jaar and Derrick Carter to share stories and special musical moments with her. In 2011 a compilation album of the same name was released on her original home label, Get Physical, and a sublabel called Heidi presents Jackathon Jams was born from its success. The first EP features an all female cast including Maya Jane Coles, Miss Kitten and Tini, but the Jackathon is about energy and unleashing some of that magic created on the dancefloor.

Heidi spends her life immersed in music. She lives and breathes the touring lifestyle, whether its 25,000 person crowds in Latin America or festivals such as Exit ,Global Gathering, Detroit's Movement fest and the infamous cave of fabric in London or Japan’s Womb or holding her own at Jackathon residency strongholds in Ibiza, London, Berlin’s Watergate and Manchester she fits within any destination around the world. Never afraid to fight for what she wants, for Heidi it’s not about right place, right time. She has won through sheer determination and sharing the magic with those she loves at every step. 


“I made the leap of faith into choosing this as a career and putting every last ounce of energy I have into it. I could have flopped on my face but I stuck it out and proved myself to my peers. Every achievement was because I gave 110% of myself, treated everyone with genuine kindness, and sacrificed things in my life that people take for granted.”
