Hello! 
I'm Ricky Helfgen, a passionate guitarist and singer from the picturesque town of Illingen in Saarland, Germany. For 35 years, music has been my loyal companion, guiding me through countless moments of joy and inspiration. Now, I'm thrilled to embark on a new adventure: My Acoustic Project. This journey, which began in June 2023 with the release of my song 'On the Sea,' is an exciting exploration of new melodies and musical landscapes. I create both instrumental pieces and singer-songwriter compositions. While the destination remains a mystery, the path is filled with endless possibilities. I can't wait to see where the music will take me next. I would be delighted if you would join me on this journey.

The past doesn't define you, don't let it haunt you. it matters what you're doing now. If you've changed for the better, then that's all that matters. It matters where you are.

Your tough times are only temporary. Although your current situation may be difficult, it always gets better. You still have an infinite amount of things to experience and places to see on this beautiful planet. Look at how far you've come already. Your achievements are too significant for you to throw away due to a difficult time. Keep your head up, and don't let your bad times define your amazing experience called life. You can perserve through any challenge the world throws at you. 

You don't have to be perfect to be loved. 
You have so many parts of yourself to still meet.
Life isn't about the things you achieve, its about who you're living it with. surround yourself with people who make you feel loved and safe, you deserve it.
