For the second and last EP of Contemporary Spaces remixes, Dynamic Reflection welcomes yet another batch of talented producers to the label. Just like the first remix EP, it is a mix between household names, and up and comers.  
 
First off, it’s Perc’s interpretation of Glide. The UK-based artist, who is known for his use of distortion and aggressiveness, takes it down a notch on this occasion. He has made Glide into a echoing and glitchy track that doesn’t reach its energy peak until the last couple of
minutes. Matrixxman takes over with his Biohazard mix of Future Existence, which contains a tensive synth, confined by a filter that gradually opens,and than closes again, retaining your attention at all times.  
 
On the B-side, SHDW and Obscure Shape reshaped The Hunt to provide the first outright dance floor track of the EP. With its thumping kick and epic pads around the breaks, it’s bound to win crowds over in the club. Dutch talent Ben Buitendijk also remixed Future Existence, in his own distinctive, hypnotic style. A deep, though energetic track with a verymature sound. 
 
Lastly, as a digital bonus, Matrixxman remixed Immersion as well. The subby kick, old school rides and uplifting lead, make it into one of those secret weapons, waiting to be used on the night’s most worked-up moments.

Sweden's Patrik Skoog delivers the 9th installment in the Parabel series. As a comparison to his previous albums each track on this Ep is designed with a dark, smoke-filled late night club setting in mind and is filled to the brim with FM basses, snappy bright drum programming and eerie atmospherics grouping them all together as one unit. Another label is born, Interstate resides between London and Berlin. Headed up by the duo named Dial Tone it’s set to be a haven for all things Techno, be it experimental, ambient or otherwise.

The first vinyl and digital package includes works from the label boss himself alongside great company such as Glós, Hedrome, Inhalt Der Nacht and Argentina’s Mental Resonance.

A respected back catalogue of releases that includes labels such as Pfirter’s MindTrip, Sonntag Morgen and Belief Systems amongst others, Mental Resonance is always on point with his pertinent productions.

“Equality” is no exception as we selected it for this DT:Premiere where he uses tom combinations to begin and set the tone under a barrage of acid / electro shocks. The vivacious rolling beat and scintillating hi-hat work are magically misleading, as it awaits the introduction of deep chords changing the function and vibe completely to that of melodic material. Patient and engaging, this could be a warm up or warm down weapon for DJ use, but a stand alone, outstanding piece of music none the less.

Ahead of that, we debuted the alternately bleepy and floaty sounds of "The Levels of Existential Space" on Red Bull Radio's First Floor, our weekly look at what's new in electronic music.

Anthony Linell "The Levels Of Existential Space" [First Floor Premiere]

Subosc is back in full effect with a new release on shrink-wrapped vinyl.

The A-side is assigned to the techno veteran Mike Parker, known for his signature sound on Geophone. In this release, he showcases two timeless, versatile and masterly crafted tracks.
 
"Trailing particles" presents a solid, well-defined narration with a futuristic, sligthly hallucinogenic synthesis. The reverberation of the analogue synths is precisely crafted, and it gives a spatially evolving character to the track.
"Trireme” features an obscure, alienating, pervasive and shiver-inducing synthesis action, which has a consistent and energetic sonic impact on mind and body.
 
The B-side includes two original tracks from the brand new Italian project R²π, born from the holistic fusion of Retina.it, Prg/M and Ruhig.
"Persona" is a rarefied tale with an intricate scenery, cleverly modeled to give a sophisticated spatial awereness. Bleeps, metallic synths and intricate percussions are put together with a massive bassline for a complete sonic experience.
"Stato Intermedio" takes place with a terrain-to-transcendent voyage. Dark, alarming soundscapes are blended with vibrating and occasionally mind-blasting metallic sounds. Additional bleeps give continuity to the experience proposed in "Persona", offering regularity to the structure of the track, and allowing to dose precisely the mutating action of the synths across the time axis.

Newly founded label @EndOfPerception has already delivered two V/A releases combining tracks by fresh talents and established names. The label's third instalment is no exception, as it's featuring dark and hypnotic cuts from Takaaki Itoh, Refracted, Shaded Explorer, Felix Fleer, Barks and MTRL. 

This time Monument premieres track Pural Present by the Japanese techno master @Takaaki_Itoh. The Metsa EP is out on November first.
