A Secret Door

Jimi Hendrix passed away 50 years ago on September 18, 1970.  A week before his passing he gave his last public interview which is the basis for this track.  The trippy dreamlike motif is inspired by Jimi's discussion of the meaning of the word "psychedelic".  I recorded the guitar tracks with an original 1969 Fender Stratocaster and the keyboards and synth tracks with a Roland RD-2000.  The song key is G Major and the BPM is 102.
