Nada (He pensado en la muerte)

I ran across this old Merle Haggard tune that was written in the 70's
Boy did it hit home and sure fits with things today.  This is another song
that Mike (Lefty Mike) did a little magic and added bass, harp and his
vocals.  He really made the song.  Thanks again Mike and thanks SC
members for the listen.

Jesus Take A Hold ( cover- Lefty Mike and Chuck Aaron)

This is a song that we co-wrote, a simple love ballad that includes a brief piano/electric guitar duet between verses. The subject is self-explanatory. A belated Happy Valentines wish before February melts into the Saint Patrick’s season!

Back to my song revival project.  Here is one of those songs I wrote back then where the song title was not mentioned in the lyrics.  I think probably in the end I was unsure what I really wanted to convey and the whole plot seemed a bit obscure.  So I gave it the title “Mist”.  Just see what you think.

 This is a song that Artur wrote in his unique, original, and signature surf rock style, and passed it on to Josh, as a gift. Josh added some bass, and, of course, had to get the rest of the Eclectic Collective involved, too. Ken came up with the energetic, driving beat, perfectly suited for the song. JJ added some really stunning, surfy organ and jamming electric piano. Tez added his signature inspired, powerful lead in the second part. Stephen added his dynamic guitar voice to the first half, and was kind, generous, patient, and talented enough to mix and produce the whole thing.
  I asked Artur the meaning of the song's title, and he told me that it refers to the soulmate some people find, who can carry you through anything, even if you or they may be a little crazy. It's about crazy love!
  We hope you enjoy our third installment of our surf rock series. Thanks for hanging ten with us!

How to write a song:
STEP 1  Buy an instrument  STEP 2  Write some words  STEP 3 .... how about just listening to the lyrics

I bought a guitar just the other day, a nice acoustic that was easy to play.
I think I'll write a simple song, I've got all the words so it shouldn't take long
That's all I need to do, to write a song for you.

All I need is a paper and pen, to write down the words so I can check them again,
A couple of verses and a chorus should do, to say all the things I need to say to you,
