Wylie Mar is an indigenous multi genre artist ranging from funk, indie, hip hop, surf rock, reggae, soul and anything that comes from her heart. Which can be hard to define, as she’s been self taught. Music has been a lifelong gift for Wylie. She can shred the guitar, sing raspy and sultry tones and freestyle rap like the greats. Wylie is a one of a kind artist you won’t find anyone like. Her lyrics tell a story, and each song is set to have its own identity. When she performs she dj’s her tracks together, with a beat so she can improvise, sing her songs, a loop petal with effects to create a warm sound and add a live element. Her songs are timeless, ranging from 70’s, 80’s and 90’s. Throughout her many genres, there is one style that ties it together- and that’s the west coast, 

Wylie Mar (Marisa Schorno) who usually goes by “Risa” to her friends- has a wide range of artistic avenues. A visual artist, tattoo artist, photographer and videographer- she likes to create her own videos and content herself. Her upcoming singles will be drip released as singles towards  an Ep, and the music videos were filmed on a road trip to California by herself, and from the help of people that were met on the road. Wylie hopes to have you enjoy the taste of flow state, and to keep taking life as it comes.
