Originally hailing from the southwest and inspired by a multiple of genres and sounds, FK Panda, formerly known as Panda first grabbed peoples attention with their first release on Bondax’s label Just Us 3 years ago.

Since then, the duo have gone on to work with labels such as Toolroom, Love & Other, Anjunadeep, Black Butter and Kitsune', paving their way in the UK dance scene as ones to watch for 2015.

Charlie and Benny have developed a sound that has kept melody at the forefront of their productions whilst retaining a strong devotion to the dance floor and the underground sound they love, Benny’s vocals being a regular feature throughout.

Their singles and remixes have garnished support on radio from the likes of Pete Tong and Annie Mac and with new music on the horizon on Toolroom and Love and Other, 2015 is set to see the boys establish themselves as leading players on the underground house scene.

Intec is known to many a fan of House and Techno as a scene leading label set up by the iconic Carl Cox who has been at the forefront of DJ culture since the early 90s.

With a roster of artists including the label boss himself plus Nicole Moudaber, Jon Rundell, Marco Bailey, Carlo Lio, Cristian Varela and Dosem amongst many others of a similar calibre.

This new release is from Intec regulars Drumcomplex & Roel Salemink who with this release makes their fifth appearance on the label as well as featuring their debut collaboration album in 2014.

Having also released music on Bush Records, Bulletdodge and Marco Baileys label MB Elektronics, the pair are no strangers to the world's Techno scene, and this release showcases their impressive sound in all its glory.

German born Arnd Reichow aka Drumcomplex and Dutch native Roel Salemink are both respected solo artists in their own right, but when the pair come together their complimenting styles have produced some of their most compelling work.

The first track Ampex is packed with tension thats brought to life by the underlying menace of its melody. Tom drums bubble up in a fast flowing rhythm which is soon complimented by a hard hitting clap to provide some added aggression. Taking no prisoners, this is dark and dancefloor focused Techno at its most exhilarating.

Second is Eighties which starts with looped chords that build with suspense as the track develops. When the main breakdown hits, so does the roar of the bass synth, which then tears through the track with devastating force. Peak time and perfect, this track is packed with a raw energy and cryptic sense of excitement.

The Soulful Techno king Gabriel Ananda makes his Truesoul debut with a re-master of his 2006 classic ‘Doppelwhipper’. The package also comes with two brand new remixes from Drumcode favourite Marco Faraone and the hotly tipped Layton Giordani. 

The EP opens with Marco Faraone’s remix, which samples Kings of Tomorrow’s ‘KOT Anthem (Soul Vision Remix)’. This takes ‘Doppelwhipper’ to dizzy new heights, keeping the obscure roots of the track and adding a rolling bass line that will bring any dancefloor to sheer hysteria. Next up is a re-master of Ananda’s seminal ‘Doppelwhipper’, a track which has well and truly stood the test of time. A connoisseur of the uncommon, his curious sounds float through almost 10 minutes of pure hedonism. Closing out the package is Layton Giordani’s interpretation of the track that is set to be a firm club favourite. Pounding through the gears, this one will do some real damage.
