The Florida bred artist goes by the name 1 Skeezy.

Skeezy was born Joshua Richardson on December 22, 1993 in Avon Park, Florida (Highlands County), and raised in Lake Wales, Florida (Polk County). The middle of 5 children raised by a single mother, in a neighborhood known as Highland Park, located on the outskirts of Lake Wales. 

Skeezy started making music in elementary school and began to go to a home studio owned by a local artist by the name of Eddie B. He recorded his first 
few songs which gave him a little recognition throughout his neighborhood, and school; there showing his true talent at a very young age. He spent a lot of his time reading thesauruses and dictionaries to build his vocabulary. Poetry was the portal of which led Skeezy to ultimately turn to music. His musical influences are: Tupac Shakur, Nas, Jay-Z, Snoop Dogg, & Eazy E.
