This song is a powerful protest against the privatization and exploitation of water, shining a light on the injustices faced by communities denied access to this basic human right. The lyrics paint a vivid picture of life without clean water, while corporations profit from this essential resource. I want to give special credit to my dear friend and sister in music, @DJShAnkAri, whose ideas and research inspired this piece. I wrote the lyrics based on her vision, and I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to bring it to life.

The song is raw, emotional, and unapologetic — a rallying cry against greed, corruption, and the systems that profit from human suffering. It demands that we recognize water’s true value and fight to protect it for generations to come.

*Note: ShAnkAri and I are sisters in music, though our tastes sometimes differ. We each had our own vision for how this song should sound, so I ended up creating two versions. Die Musik umspannt Momente des Lärms und der Stille, und bringt eine leise Gewissheit mit, die tief unten wirkt – eine winzige Flamme im Inneren, die erkennt, wie müde und hungrig das Denken geworden ist. 

Unterwegs ist ein Flüstern, das zugleich alles erklärt und nichts behauptet, ein offener Raum zwischen Bewegung und Ankommen.
