This is a passion project. My dad was the late Pete Mitchell-Smith. He was a fantastic blues musician and in his day he was voted the 4th best harmonica player in the UK in Harmonica World magazine. He struggled in his 40s with cancer and died at the young age of 49. Back in 1989 he did manage to do some recordings. The other day I bought a DAT machine and grabbed those recordings to get the best version of his songs online that I could so that my family can have a lovely way to listen to him and his music any time they want. Only a couple of the tracks were not on the DAT so a couple are just taken straight from a tape, however i have made sure to spruce them up as good as I could. I do hope you enjoy this journey down memory lane.
