Mekong Age is a melodic, progressive Heavy Metal band from Herne, Germany, founded in 2019 by Wolfgang Borgmann (vocals, former singer of Mekong Delta) and Arthur Bulach (lead- and rhythm guitars). 

The band was complemented in 2022, after Alfred Tietz (rhythm guitar), Mathias "Matto" Schweiger (drums) and Ludger "Lulle" Küperkoch (bass guitar) joined the group. Unfortunately, Wolfgang died at the end of 2022, and since May 2023 Kim Janine "KJ" Heinzerling became the new voice of Mekong Age. 

The band presents sophisticated Metal, peppered with elements of Nu Metal, stomping grenades and power metal attacks.
