Being born in 1978 I was fortunate to see the start of what we now call Dance Music, from the 80’s era onwards, such as House, Speed Garage, early Rave, Happy Hardcore, Drum n Bass, Jungle and Techno.

It was in this beginning phase of Dance Music that I became even more engrossed in the Scene, especially with House Music, Rave, Techno & Speed Garage. From that early exposure i started clubbing in places such as Cream,  Uropa, Ark, Ministry of Sound, Sankey’s, Pleasure Rooms and the Legendary Gallery in Leeds. Here i soon became aware of Djing, although I remained a clubber for many more Years before I ever considered trying it out myself.

Eventually, after seeing some of the greatest DJs & Musician’s in the World perform, such as Tony De Vit, Prodigy, DJ Sy, Rob Tissera, Carl Cox, Steve Luigi, Altern-8, Jeremy Healey, Sasha & Digweed and many more besides, I finally decided to try my hand at Djing and bought my first set of Turntables, some belt-driven Soundlab DLP 1600’s and a cheap Synergy T1000 Mixer then started to play around with music and began building my own Vinyl & CD collection

It wasn’t until I invested in a pair of Technics SL1210 mk2’s back in 2008 that I truly began to learn the Art of Djing and also began frequenting Hard House Events at some of the best Night’s in the early to mid 2000’s, Housewives Choice, Sundissential, Glasshouse, GoodGreef & Savaged to name a few of my all-time favourites.

Later in 2008, I started up my own Night “Back2Bounce” helped by some of my good friends and great DJs, Martin C, Tony H, Mad Will, Mosswah, Joe Longbottom & James Clark, catering for like-minded clubbers & DJs alike with the Music Policy being one of Uplifting & Bouncy Hard House. During that period I was lucky enough to be asked to play at several Savaged Events, including one Xmas Special alongside one of my favourite DJ/Producer’s, the mighty Ilogik and was also hired for a few private parties here and there.

Along with all this, I began venturing into Online Djing thanks to a good friend of mine Matthew Ridings, who I helped set up WkdBeats Online Radio with, playing a wide range of Hard House & Organ Bassline on my shows and soon after that, I began playing around with Music Production using Fruity Loops and Ableton, where I made quite a few tracks ranging from Bounce & Mash Up’s to Dirty Dutch House & Fidget, with several signed to Labels and sold Worldwide via different online music stores.

Unfortunately soon after all this I had to put my Musical ambitions on hold and spent the next ten or so Years this way, whilst holding onto my dream of returning to my love for Djing, Producing and Dance Music, although it wasn’t until 2019 that things ultimately took a turn for the better, my patience was finally rewarded and my passion renewed. I have since began focusing once again on my Djing and Producing, revitalizing my Facebook DJ Group and turning my attention to giving it my all, to see how far I can take it and more importantly get back to enjoying life and Music a lot more.

Currently I have a Monthly Schedule for my Music, that I plan to maintain and use to showcase myself, by releasing regular Monthly Mixes through my love of Speed Garage, Organ Bassline, Jackin’ House, Dirty Dutch House, Melbourne Bounce, Bounce, Hard House & Hard Bounce and am also, for the first time, working with other producer’s to make fresh new music, my first being my upcoming original Hard Bounce release “Hit Em Wi The Rolla” in collaboration with Joe Longbottom, closely followed later this May by getting back into the studio to finish off a special Remix of BassJumper & Jon BW - I Believe [Jump Trax]

Who is Manzoo?

The world may never know. Modern times have evolved into an ugly monster where talent and quality have been pushed aside for image and money. The music industry is just that. A big corporate industrial factory churning out dozens of clones of the last big act to sell a million records. Sadly the latest few generations of youth have had nothing to claim as their own. There is barely any new music being created in the mainstream. Manzoo does not adhere to any particular “style” of music. This poses a problem for the modern industry. Marketing and promoting Manzoo is extremely hard because Manzoo is a mystery and can not be branded. No one knows what Manzoo looks like except a few secretive people. No one knows what shoes he wears, what hairstyle he has today, and who he is sleeping with (except the poor girl, but she has no clue she is really with Manzoo). Manzoo has no image. This leaves the listeners with only one thing to worry about, Music. Manzoo makes music. Manzoo is about creativity. Yes there are shirts and videos and stickers and pretty album designs etc., But they are all created by Manzoo. No marketing firms, no Orange county focus groups. Manzoo makes art, and art in music. The industry is all about selling a branded image to consumers. Manzoo is all about sharing music and art with people. Manzoo knows there are others that feel the same way or are not yet aware they are trapped in a consumerism cloning beaker. Break free from the machines. Clear your head. Stop listening to all the buzzwords that bounce around in your head all day. Don’t just conform to status quo. Find yourself and be that. Your not who they tell you you are. And for all the controllers of the clones let it be known that Manzoo is among you. Incognito, he is at the after-party, the soiree on the yacht, the award show, at the 2:30 meeting and in the screening room. He could be anyone in any position at any media company in front of any camera on any stage. He is immersed in the industry and is among the clones. Studying, watching and waiting.

Im 24 live in st helens, merseyside , peasley cross born n bread 
Im one of the madest/livelyest/appyest person u could ever come accross lol 
Take me as you see me, but youl always hear me before you see me, im loud n proud always bouncin round ,smilein , laughin enjoy life.
I am a musician , music is my life always has been always will be 
I have been dancing n singin ever since i was runnin round in nappies lol 
As i got older i was alot more curiouse on how music was made , how the instruments wer played etc.. 
Age 8 i got my 1st guitar, sat down for many years teachin meself the basics , the more i practiced the better i got , 
When ever i complete my tasks,l i went on to something else to do, thers always more to do and to learn in life , 
I can play electric , accoustic , bass guitar , drums , keyboard and piano, sing, dance...
The last 2 years in of high school i turned into a proper little raver , listening to the best wigan pier , maximes , monroes etc... 
Then i started djing , i used to watch me bother mix on the decks , pickin him tunes to mix in that i kow would go well with each other and then just had to have a go lol :) 
I started practicin in his every weekend when i stayed down , learnt myself how to beat match , i done it very quick , when i masterd that i learnt myself how to scratch , dj welly and dj sy wer very big insparations to me at the time where i got my style from,
Went to Technics Dj Acadamy in manchester for 2 years to show my skills that i developed, and shared alot of my knowlege with lots of youths from manchester,liverpool,southport,st helens plus more from the uk. 
Within those 2 years i improved so much and started handing demo's/promos to all different clubs, i was very succesfull and managed to get the reputation i needed to get me somewere..
2006 i started djin at kalagens ( irish club) in earlstown/newton with NEWTON NOISE i met the best people ever :D every1 respected, looked out for me and never looked down on me , we had the best times ever from 8 till 11.. after ther we used to have an after party in ashton at old marys, the night was called PLAYGROUND was very successfull , packed every week without fail :) had the time of me life every week with the people i cud have a laugh and get messy with without any trouble what so ever .
As the word got around about me and what i do and how i done things 
i was highly recomended by st helens chamber and reality records to give and teach my skills that i had doveloped , we joined forces and created a music school 
Reality music School , 
I enjoyed all my time ther teaching, using the equipment , recording cds, gettin to know the students, watching them develop and improve their skills , they all loved it and respected me soo much i was likea s roll model to them all to keep them out of trouble , keep ther heads down with school work and have a good mix on the wheels of steel ;)
2008 unfortunatly the school closed down , so then i started doin my own class's all around st helens and liverpool workin for Helena/council 
Through out teachin those class's i was alot more aware of the club scene how sounds come out so good and how they got made, that right i started producing along side my old m8 will taylor who signed me to his record label JOKIN RECORDS , had 3 record releases got sold all around europe, 
We have been workin together for 3 years now we are hitin it large good and proper now with all the big names . 
We are now the Craz-e Fools :) got our 1st track under our new name signed with ORIGINAL BOUNCE , the track is up for sale on BOUNCE HEAVEN DIGITAL still in the top 20 charts :) 
Gigs are gettin thown at us left right and centre, we are keepin on form with the stompers they will get even CRAZ-E'R each time. 
I work on my tunes through the week and then play em out on the weekend, live for the weekends love em , spin a few tunes, see my m8s and get messyyyyy..
cant think of ewt else put write just yet i think iv sed enough for now, me brains overloadin feel like im havin a blonde moment haha :P if u already know me u knew what u just read anyway , if u didnt/dont know me now you do :) rave safe ;) keep the scene alive :D
