The thing is, I've been working on this set for a few months, and it's been quite a challenge...and you know me, if it's challenging, I just can't ignore it 🤤so after months of polishing and re-re-re recording, I'm extremely satisfied to finally share with you my recent musical discoveries.  

I was introduced to Dark Disco by my dear friend @djbasilisk and man, I just got hooked, truly fun stuff, a really unique crossover of House and Nu disco with a slice of Goa 🤯

The whole series started with two majestic remixes of Notinism.org by female producers RENA JONES and VIOLETA VICCI. This new EP is achieving the series with a perfect parity between male and female. On the one hand, we present two remixes by top notch trance artists JAIA and AJJA, on the other hand SUPERCOZI and up-and-coming LYLI J. Psychedelic Techno - Nowadays quite a buzzword, since more and more Psy and Progressive Trance producers came up with a technoish side project. Yet the actual idea of Psychedelic Techno goes back further, and differs from the somewhat slow and clubby approach of many recent productions: Around 2000, acts like Spirallianz and Midi Miliz (today known as Extrawelt) or X-Dream merged deep and psychedelic sounds into hard, pumping Techno rhythms. Although this genre never became mainstream, it never vanished - which brings us to Alic. 
 
Since 2002, Alic keep up the original idea of Psychedelic Techno. In form of their passionate studio and live project, in form of their popular netlabel Digital Diamonds (founded in 2006) and formerly as A&Rs of Horns & Hoofs Entertainment. All these commitments strive to combine Psy-Trance and Progressive Techno in a fresh and innovative way, but without the drag of getting too clubby or too minimal.

With a long background in producing electronic music and performing as DJs, Alic are one of the most promising artists in the progressive Techno- and TechTrance-scene nowadays.
