I’m going to be candid here, in my life. I put up with so much shit and abuse from so many really hurt and sad people that want to do nothing more than see you fail and fall apart. The only thing that they don’t realize is that the more they try to destroy me. The stronger, kinder, and more compassionate it makes me! In fact, all the people that have ever hurt anyone or have done anything in malice, shame on you, shame on you! But, I don’t wish you illness. I wish that you would understand what you’re doing and hopefully reach some form of happiness in life. I was told to keep my friends close and my enemies closer.

But I need to reiterate this again, anyone who didn’t get it the first time. This doesn’t mean that you go freaking out and screaming at people and having a big scene. Just because you don’t like someone or the way they’re treating you, yes, they’re in the wrong, but be smart, think about it, don’t let it tear you apart, raise up above it, as that’s the problem of the world right now. And at the end of the day, you are responsible for your actions, not anyone else’s, and trust me, acting in love always wins. You can overpower any evil in life as long as you know in your heart you’re doing the right thing. Fight like hell, especially when you know it’s the right thing to do. No one can fault you for that!!

Mikhal B is an inspiring electronic music artist from Vancouver Island, Canada, who has passionately pursued his craft for over ten years. 
Some music genres that Mikhal creates range from R&B to drum and bass. His deep love for drum and bass blossomed in the early 2000s, as he listened to CDs in his parents' basement. “I was mesmerized by the syncopated rhythms and could feel them in my soul. It’s like I had been there before, and I craved to make music, but didn’t know quite how yet.” 
His passion for music surged when he received his first Apple computer, opening a new world to express his creativity and share beautiful stories through sound. In high school, he immersed himself in electives focused on electronic music composition. Most of his skills in music creation have come from watching YouTube videos and tutorials, driven by a genuine thirst for knowledge and a humble desire to learn. Influences that have shaped his artistry include bands like Moby, Crystal Waters, The Crystal Method, Fatboy Slim, Fleetwood Mac, MGMT, Zero 7, Leftfield, Phil Collins, Groove Armada, Steely Dan, Kaytranada, Kryptogram, Cosmic Sequence, Nu:Tone, LTJ Bukem, Technimatic, Shogun, Dido, Tame Impala, ZHU, Daft Punk, Justice, Leisure, Supertramp, and Bohemian Rhapsody, among many others. His undying love for music continues to fuel his creative journey.
Born with a rare genetic neuromuscular disease known as Muscular Dystrophy, he faced his first major challenge at just four years old when he received a life-altering diagnosis. For any child, receiving such heavy news is unimaginable, and it weighed heavily on him and his family, who were told to prepare for a life filled with significant hurdles and a looming shadow of a shortened lifespan. The idea of facing mortality at such a young age was a thought too complex for a young mind to grasp. Yet, amidst the darkness, he found a beacon of hope. Instead of succumbing to his fate, he chose to rise above it. Nearly 30 years later, he stands as a testament to resilience, embracing life with unwavering positivity and indomitable strength—despite being confined to a wheelchair since the age of 14. His journey is not just one of survival; it’s a powerful story of triumph against the odds, proving that hope can flourish even in the most challenging circumstances. Mikhal has not allowed these challenges to impede his progress in the slightest bit, and he continues to share his music on YouTube and other streaming platforms, serving as a powerful inspiration to others to confront their own obstacles and pursue their aspirations. Mikhal’s positive demeanour and unwavering determination to push himself beyond his physical limitations are truly commendable and are seen as a beautiful strength!
