Pretty Money Records announced today the signing of 19-year-old hip-hop artist Lil Lucci to their label roster, marking a significant milestone as the second artist from his hometown to secure a major record deal. The signing comes just weeks after the completion of Lucci's successful "Double L on the Road" tour.
The young artist, who began his rap career 3-4 years ago alongside his late brother Sadi Yogii Johnson, has already demonstrated considerable promise in the hip-hop scene. His recent single "Essence," featuring Draco Savii, released on February 18, 2025, has garnered significant attention in the industry. "Lil Lucci represents the next generation of hip-hop talent, and we're thrilled to welcome him to the Pretty Money Records family," said CEO of Pretty Money Records. "His raw talent, combined with his authentic storytelling ability, makes him a perfect fit for our label's vision."
The signing represents a poignant moment in Lucci's career, as he continues the musical journey he began with his late brother.
