A song appreciation for cycling. Best saver of heart on planet Earth. In the lyrics I refer to a few special cycling moments in my life...

The first, I was maybe 3... We were going a long a path beside them main road and the wheel came off my trike... In my head it had just disappeared and I hadn't a clue what was going on... But I rember Mum saying we had to go without getting the wheel... So that was the end of trike 1...

Fast forward to 4-2 wheels. I rember like a video when first went on two wheel and I knew I was in control. It's one of best feelings of my life. I was on a flat part of the estate road at the top of a hill. So cool how excitement sticks with you forever. 

Fast forward. again and I refer to an incident with my neighbour Evelyn. I was pelting it down a mountain road full speed and nearly hit her head on... I managed to Marc Marquez my way through but she told on me and I was banned from the road for a good while haha ... So Shit I'm banned for a while ws real shit and no game consoles yet!

For the record... I have never been diagnosed as being on any spectrum however I think I and the people around me are clever enough to know I probably am on some sort of level... It would explain a lot!

That said I do apologise if this portrays ignorance or is received badly by anyone who suffers from this. I'm just trying to understand it better from my point of view like I do everything through a song! If it strikes the wrong chord I would love to know why and maybe even rewrite parts to project whats real! So although the lyrics are written as if it's been confirmed... I am imagining how the medical community might deal with it if I lived in a place like the US. It seems in Ireland we are dealing with it quite wisely now from what I have heard through the people I have spoken to that have experienced the process.

Old Ideas from Old Email


To my surprise, I found some of my old music ideas in my old email account. I thought I had lost them forever.

I had forgotten that a lot of music sharing used to happen through emails.

Some of those recordings were made in Audacity, and later on, I moved to Logic Pro 9. There were many of my own ideas, but also a few collaborations and jam sessions with friends.
