We are extremely proud and excited to announce our first Sheffield artist on CPU - 96 Back aka Evan Majumdar-Swift. Swift has delivered his debut 4 track electro EP with a strong bleep and bass influence. Coming from bleep lineage with Swift being the son of legendary Jive Turkey promoter Matt Swift, these tracks are a cutting-edge interpretation of Sheffield’s electronic music heritage. To celebrate this Steel City release on CPU one of the founders of Warp, and Fon studio engineer, Rob Gordon has mastered the tracks.

PPGMIX037 comes from Sheffield based power couple Wow and Flutter, a.k.a. Harry Shackleton and Lily Williams. The pair are behind the excellent 'Sheffield Cassette' blog which covers the city's underground dance music scene, including great interviews with artists, previews up upcoming listings and reviews of the best parties that are going on. Besides that though they're also absolutely wicked DJs who've been making a real name for themselves with a string of great sets. The chemistry is always evident when they play and they simply don't disappoint, so we've been very excited to see what they would put together for us. Featuring tracks from the likes of Posthuman, Jensen Interceptor, Jerome Hill and Cursor Miner, it definitely doesn't disappoint!
