DJ Raqx (Raquel) is a founding member of Misschief collective. Raquel is a native New Yorker of Puerto Rican and German descent. Her music is heavily influenced by her hybrid cultures mixing a variety of rhythmic dance music with a foundation in house music, playful beats, soulful vocals and a latin twist. Raquel loves getting lost on the dance floor and is constantly inspired by tunes that make her move and groove. She has played at several venues in Brooklyn, as well as international shows in Mexico and Cuba. Outside of dancing and DJing, Raquel is an elementary school teacher. 

Dj Kfeelz (kafilah) tastes are influenced by her eclectic upbringing in Brooklyn , NY. She carries a steady love for dance music and her influences include melodic house, sassy vocals , soulful disco, and funky rhythms of the world. She is a co-founding member of miss/chief and is thankful to share in the delight of music with friends. Whether it is moving her feet on the dance floor or digging for tunes, she is thankful to continue to be moved by the magic of music. Her intent is to bring joy to the dance floor and share the love of music with others ✨

Raquel and Kafilah met in 2016 on the dance floor at Bossa Nova Civic Club. They’ve since built a close bond through their shared love for dance music and have a synergetic energy playing back to back sets.
