Benny Sings is a prolific songwriter, multi-platinum awarded producer and artist from Amsterdam. Benny has made his name over a 2-decade career as a singer, songwriter and producer, with the the critically acclaimed latest album ‘Young Hearts' (released March 2023) on Stones Throw Records and amassed 1.5 billion streams across his catalogue so far. 

The album ’Young Hearts' includes the singles 'Pyjamas' ft Remi Wolf, The World & Young Hearts. For this project, Benny joined forces with producer Kenny Beats. The album was written & produced in Los Angeles, London & Amsterdam. 

Benny has honed a signature sound while creating a colorful catalog of essential pop gems that have led to loyal global following, with fans including John Mayer, Anderson .Paak and Jamie Cullum. Benny collaborated with a wide range of artists like Kenny Beats, Tom Misch, Mac DeMarco, Cory Henry, PJ Morton, Marc Rebillet, Emily King, Free Nationals, Mayer Hawthorne, Nulbarich, Polo & Pan, Mocky, Rae Khalil & Cornelius. He co-wrote and produced platinum awarded singles and chart topping albums for UK artist Rex Orange County including ‘Lovin Is Easy’ and ‘Who Cares’. He was nominated for an Edison Award in 2016, 2023 & 2024 and won a Buma Music In Motion Award in 2024. 

Benny Sings played live session for NPR’s Tiny Desk, KCRW & COLORS & plays sold out shows worldwide.


In 2023 Benny celebrated his 20th anniversary.

LIE NING is an artist from Berlin who gives a musical home to this complex bundle of emotions.
He is from an environment which likewise changes its face continuously. With his velvety voice, encompassed with faint piano hammers, shimmering electronic elements and racing heartbeats the 22 year old creates a startling yet embracing intimacy. Conveyed by poised confidence and unapologetic openness the songs manage to take a look at the audience’s souls while reflecting what lies deepest within an artist who could not be more captivating.

Biography:

Northling began as a collective in 2017 and quickly began to find their place in the arenas of nu-jazz and electronica. 

Originally the band started as a trio but grew in 2020 and 2021 with the addition of three more members. 

They got to work writing an album from home during the pandemic and the resulting self-released debut album ‘Ways of Seeing’ won both the 'Best Album' and 'Groundbreaker' awards at the North West Music Awards in 2021. 

Excitingly, in early 2022, following the success of Genix's remix of their track 'Take Our Time', Northling was signed to 'Reflections', the third sub-label of Anjunabeats, which is owned by renowned, Grammy-nominated artists Above & Beyond. 

Northling's subsequent releases under this label, so far being EPs 'Tycho', released in September 2022 and 'Hallowed Ground', released in September 2023, have garnered support from BBC Radio 1, have enable their release of Apple Music exclusive mixes, and saw Northling booked to perform a DJ set at Anjunadeep Open Air Festival at Finsbury Park in August 2023; two of the six members have prior experience DJing internationally and make a perfect sub-team, as it were, for such events. 

Further, the collective had its first sold out show as a six-piece at The Old Joinery, Greenwich in September 2023, which led to the release of their third EP on Reflections, being 'Hallowed Ground live from the Old Joinery', which includes live versions of the main singles from the EP plus a couple of extra tracks. 

Upcoming in 2024 so far is the band's February 1st show at NTs Loft, Hackney, wherein the band will play as one of three acts at the Reflections Showcase event. 

Northling's DJ leg is also in-line to perform at international events in the coming year.
