COREMIX #4 - ØTTA

London-based portuguese powerhouse ØTTA joined us few month ago. The djane and producer is also co-founder of the event series Орфей - [orpheus], which showcases hard techno in the UK capital. ØTTA's musical upbringing began at an early age, playing in an orchestra, which in turn had a profound influence on her style. Her style fuses emotional depth with raw power, drawing inspiration from industrial, hardcore and classic rave-sounds. Besides making waves in her hometown London, ØTTA has also joined forces with the infamous Possession crew from Paris and now a part of their roster as well.

The next Girlcast presents Keith Barrera 🌹

Keith Barrier began her artistic career in Latin music at the early age of 15 until 2018, when she switched course to electronic genres and joined the Sens group collective, known for pioneering the new hard dance and neo rave wave. Their sets feature vocals, heavy kicks, aggressive bass lines and always very energetic acid sounds that freshen up the track. In her years as a DJ she has managed to win the love and support of the Colombian audience who identify with her personality and charisma.

Colombian, passionate about music and percussion instruments, DJ and producer from the city of Bogotá. Her aesthetic is based on industrial, experimental rhythms influenced by hard, psychedelic and Groove. She expresses endless textures and frequencies that envelops her listeners in a sensual dance with no return. Resident of Sensor Events, in 2019 she created her project Industrial Girls which has established itself as an event venue and label thanks to a solid work team that has been in charge of highlighting women’s work in the world electronic scene.

Girlcast 🌹 is a new mix series with female techno artists only.

The first episode will present Otta from London. Her style joins the sense of emotional depth with raw solid basslines and industrial noises. Melting different styles together allowed her to create a personal flow into a mature techno language of her own, that currently offers an extra sensorial experience.

ØTTA also founded the London based 000011010 collective and recently co-founded the new project Орфей - orpheus.

I have been able to participate in great events with great djs worldwide, some of them are: Henrique Camacho (Brazil), DIØN (Holland), Save me (Spain) among others...
