After a short break during the busy summer period we come back introducing our new 'Foto Reels' series.

Volume 1 brings through some Foto favourites including Bidl, Gnasha and Volume A, also welcoming our mastering engineer and top producer  to the roster - Leeds based bass wizard, Surreal.

These tracks vary the spectrum opening up with an eerie yet powerful intro from FOTO011 releasee, Bidl with 'Focus'. Leading into Volume A's militant, grimey stepper 'Fast Acting'. Then being taken into a seemingly trippy, bass driven juxtaposed and contradictory creeper 'Subira' by Surreal, ending on the deep, moody atmosphere of stomper 'Obedience' of label favourite Gnasha.

Showreel for the 'Elements EP' by Spectre - from NZ currently residing in London, this producer is up to stuff. After hearing a few blocks of music we can confirm he’s one to watch. Fortunately we’ve been able to lock down another up and comer to join the family.

Drawing influence from the well renowned chord marauders and DNO, putting his own spin on the sound has tickled our fancy at Foto. Taking us back to our original sound, we’re proud to present you the Elements EP

In 2013, at an abandoned WWII bunker rave named vaxxine, Spork’s love for techno kicked-off. There, he met local artists Giaçinté & Matley who later became his mentors.

An intrigue for drums and percussions came about earlier on, with a history of listening to rock, and continues to be a significant element of his production, and DJ sets. These sets are also influenced by an 8 year journey which has taken him through Italian and Dutch-schools of techno, as well as dub-techno, where an ear for groove continued to develop. 

Today, Spork's sound is a mixture of dub techno infused with driving deep hypnotic and melodic techno. Storytelling is always his main goal.
