Osman Malik (AKA Oz Malik, Moshwave.) is a Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist/Musician from the suburbs of Washington D.C. He has a passion for creativity and various musical tastes. Osman has a solid musical background including songwriting, composition, production and performing experience, plus a broad style which incorporates classic rock, folk, blues, jazz and soul. Osman has played in several DC local bands ( The Shockers, Mr. Nicehands, No Left Turn, Seventeen Knots, NeverEnder). He led the psychedelic indie rock band Spectral Vision from 2006 till 2012, and has performed with several notable acts (Stars of The Track & Field, Lake Trout, Sainthood Reps, Fools & Horses, Midnight Spin, Caustic Casanova, The Flying Eyes, Black Lung, Deaf Scene, Black Dog Prowl, Margot MacDonald, Petticoat Tearoom and Tomas Pagan Motta).
He has drawn influence from artists such as Jimmy Page, David Gilmour, David Bowie, Wes Montgomery, Elvis Presley, and Paul McCartney. From rock to pop music, Osman touches many styles and genres with his recordings [Let's Make Time single, Thoughts are Endless Statements EP, 'Cold' single, 'Delusions of Grandeur' demo]. He now performs as a solo artist ( Osman Malik and The Truth band, solo acoustic sets), and always looking to collaborate.
