Standing in line sun-burnt offerings 
Averting their eyes and lashes
From the gods of the waves

Yesterday’s legends playing loud again
Yesterday’s sounds from their temple
Tomorrow’s sleepers, lonely dreamers
Searching for calm, with closed eyes
And drift away on the waves

Falling to the amber sedative
It never ends
Long forgotten memories 
On repeat again again  
It takes them back

To their glory days   
Now they’re just reminiscing

Nocturnal breezes cool the furnace
Band slowly plays on and on and on and on…
Soft tears escaping from the corners 
Of her blue eyes, emotions
Wash over her like a wave

Tide now receding from the shoreline
Slowly the eyes are weighed down
Consciousness leaving gone for the night
Returning to dream, that one day

World Of Sorrow And Of Pain

static whispers in the satellite rain,
voices fading through the static chain,
where do we run when home feels strange?
when will the madness end?

Verse 1:

I feel that ache, yeah, I can’t believe.

now every truth is lost in sound.

The lights still shine, but the soul feels cold,
we traded warmth for silver and gold.

through the static, through the falling.
