Jimmy Asquith follows up his massive dancefloor-crushing solo debut 'The Conditioning Track' with a four track techno-house-bass EP that shimmers with London-via-West Yorkshire influences. 

Treading further down the path of UK bass, garage and house - whilst incorporating a heaving mid-Germany techno edge and the skippy NY-Jersey sound - this EP sees a breakout in four directions and a smatter of extra colour in the producers pallet. 

Hard Skippin' (Cream Dub) is the huge garage-house A-side. Taking UK house back to it's 90's roots whilst giving a nod to both North & South England garage styles. Title track Never Alone is a techno bomb straight outta Berlin. Channeling a bit of Wax and EQ'd, this is high-tempo, synth stab-heavy stuff with choppy French house undertones. 

On the flip we have Hot Hot, a reimagining of UK funky through a techno club lens. A no frills drum, bass and vocal track that oozes rhythm and lands heavy with each drop. Lastly we have NRG Mix, a stepped rhythmic filtered slab of dub techno that washes and waves from break to break, steeped in rumbling subs.

Coming up on Habits Records, is a 3 track EP comprising of two euphonious mellow grooving originals from Brazilian DJ Alex Dittrich and a stern remix from the highly sought after Spaniard Juliche Hernandez.

'Just A Feeling' combines a house and jazz melody, whilst maintaining a feel good vibe and groove. This get-go track is perfect for easing into the party, as the mellifluous voice states 'house is more than just a feeling'!

Second in the EP is 'Everything', which offers a brisker, hard driving baseline. Its rapid beats and indistinct female vocals will ensure the crowd is kept rocking! No doubt this will make you lose yourself in the tightly written groove and ripe-tidy synth work.

Finally, the last remix from Juliche, offers a refreshing spin on what was already a solid original. Some would say it's a hard track to remix, given the original pulsating rhythmic beats created. However, Juliche surprises us with his next level flip to the EP, offering a harder grooving underground dance floor hitter.
What's more, he maintains the same vibes offered in the original - one of our personal favourites.

Orli launches a new digital series, on his LORI label.

For this special edition consisting of 15 exclusive tracks, strongly inspired by the stories of H.P Lovecraft, Orli decides to give life to a journey into his dark fantasy universe. With strong influences also from the 80s horror cinema, these 15 pieces explore the creative meanders of Orli's new musical concept. Dark but also bright, Mysterious and sci-fi scenarios are represented linked by fantasy shades that are re-proposed within all the compositions.

Each piece contains an intrinsic meaning in it. Mystery, Darkness and Surrealism are the main elements of these 15 works.
The love for the unknown, the attraction towards what we do not know, the darkness, the abyss and the universe/space are taken apart and reused to create 15 electronic musical compositions.

The analog sound and the feeling of real and true that arouses in contrast with the fiction of the world represented.

Created by a DJ for DJs, each single work has a well-defined role within each DJ set. However, these Tracks can also be used at the same time towards a more relaxed listening, where the listener can let himself be carried away by the nebulous vortex of the unknown that pervades the lands of a different listening.

Let yourself be transported by the fantasy horror world of Orli and give space to your imagination.

The entire LP ends with an ambient track that leads to wake up from this dark journey / dream within this fantasy world and reminds us that we are now back to reality again and that we no longer have to fear anything.
