Super Mario 64: Portrait of a Plumber is the 48th FREE community arrangement album published by OverClocked ReMix and arranges music from the legendary Nintendo 64 launch title Super Mario 64. One day I was listening to the Ratchet: Deadlocked soundtrack and I was like, "huh, maybe I could make something that sounds like that!" While composing, I tried throwing in some sound design inspired by Ryu Umemoto with a tiny bit of slap bass not unlike a Crush 40 song and this composition came into being. I think I'm growing more appreciative of early to mid-2000's 3D platformers as of late.
