You may know him as Jah Cure. Perhaps you know him by his given name, Siccaturie Alcock. But as the saying goes, “What’s in a name?” Most importantly, you must know his message. His music is at once his spirit, his all-consuming passion, and his personal declaration of a belief in a universal consciousness based on love and positivity.

Born in Hanover, Jamaica on October 11th, 1978, the global force that is Jah Cure has been a long time in the making. From as little as three years old, this child of slight build would captivate those around him with his innate musical virtuosity. As he and his love for the art grew, the young man whose voice would make any songbird green with envy would sneak out of his bedroom window late at night to visit local dancehalls and stage shows. It was here that he became immersed in the stylings of the undisputed greats: Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Burning Spear, Beres Hammond, Marcia Griffith, Garnett Silk, Yami Bolo, Jacob Miller and Black Uhuru. A young Siccaturie knew that he would dedicate himself to achieving membership of this superlative group.

Initially using the name ‘Little Melody’, Siccaturie’s voice started to leave an indelible impression in the streets and he soon became the talk of Jamaica. At the age of fifteen, he moved to Kingston. The name Jah Cure was bestowed upon him by the world-renowned Capleton and the David House Crew. This was primarily due to the vast amount of herb he smoked in the quest for spiritual enlightenment - a daily custom of his Rastafarian religion and commitment to natural living. Using the plants of the land for medicinal purposes, the singer looked young and healthy. He was ‘well-preserved’ or ‘cured’. Jamaican music icon, Beres Hammond, subsequently took Cure under his wing and became his mentor and producer.

However, Cure’s journey would be unexpectedly interrupted when in 1998 he was stopped and arrested late one night in Montego Bay. He was charged with four crimes, all of which he vehemently denies to this day. A non-jury trial was convened (one in which a single judge decides both questions of law and fact) and unfortunately, despite a total lack of visual confirmation of his involvement in said crimes, Cure was given a 15 year sentence.Not letting this setback disrupt his dream, Cure recorded and released many #1 singles from jail. The songs "Jamaica" and "Longing For" were both local and global successes. Cure’s first album, FREE JAH’S CURE, was recorded and released in 2001. On this project, Cure conveys his gratitude for life. He believes his incarceration was Jah’s way of teaching him humility, kindness, forgiveness and love for his fellow man. Consequently, he has relinquished any resentment for those who judged him unjustly. In 2003, Beres Hammond produced Cure’s second album, GHETTO LIFE, which featured the acclaimed single Divide and Rule.

On his first day of freedom Cure publicly stated that his only remaining life goal would be to use his music as a means of spreading love, peace and healing. Since 2007, Jah Cure has topped the charts with several # 1 singles - Call on Me, featuring Phyllisia, followed by You’ll Never Find, and Unconditional Love, which quickly became the #1 reggae single worldwide. The song Like I See It, featuring Rick Ross, and the remix with dancehall king Mavado, undeniably rocked the international reggae scene.Released in 2013, the album WORLD CRY featured collaborations with the talents of Tupac, Keri Hilson, Mavado, MDMA, Rick Ross, Jazmine Sullivan, Shyne and several others. It can confidently be described as an auditory explosion that crossed and entwined the genres of reggae, hip hop, R&B, Latin and pop.

His most recent album, THE CURE, dominated the billboard reggae charts for a phenomenal 36 weeks and was nominated for Best Reggae Album at the 2016 Grammy Awards.

D'Yani born Andre Chavanie McCormack  hails from the tropical musical favored island of Jamaica. D'Yani's artistic brand showcases him predominately with a fresh approach to the genre of reggae and dancehall, occasionally seeing him dabbling in open format productions that complete his personal brand, as well as being an advocate for positive and inspirational music. 

D’Yani is described by peers a comical and jovial individual, often as  "a young man with a big heart for everyone," but most importantly females. His respectful popularity amongst females is a strong derivative of his love for his mother, whose influence has deepened his appreciation of females due to his upbringing in a single-parent household. His freshman single title "Give Away My Love" speaks to the hurt and pain associated with relationships, as well as the care, love and value he places on women. 

D'Yani is a proud alumni of several prestigious Jamaican academic institutions such as Vaz Preparatory, Wolmers High School for Boys and Caribbean Maritime College, which speaks to his appreciate of self and professional development. However, it was during his years of high school at Wolmers High, that D'Yani discovered and nurtured his new found passion for music. D'Yani has such an appreciation for the musical arts that he considers himself a student of the industry, actively engaging industry research and development of his craft at every given opportunity. 

Influenced by fellow artist and friend Eva Hype, whom he met in High School, encouraged him to come to the studio, which he did. The journey of music became evident to D'Yani at that point, the shift from hobby to serious interest became the obvious course of action. During his period of college, he then became even more engulfed in the art of music, using every opportunity to improve his skills in writing and performing, more so focusing on developing his brand into a unique blend. This blend has since manifested in a sound which fuses catchy melodies, witty lyrics and situational concepts to convey his personal experiences and that of others. According to Robert Livingston - Former Artist Manager to talents such as Super Cat Maxi Priest and Shaggy, now CEO of Scikron Entertainment/ BigYard Music Studios said " you definitely have that unique sound and conversation (lyrics) which is lacking in the industry.... definitely a talented youth, and with a few tweaks in your melodies you gonna be wicked". Taking that encouragement and professional advice to heart D'Yani has revisited his style and focused on his melodies to further cement his unique and quality sound from  that of his counterparts. 

D'Yani has performed at various events, concerts and festivals locally with the song being most noted for as ‘Lovers Go," and will be actively promoting his new single. D'Yani pulls musical inspiration from several genres of music, which has contributed to his diversified catalogue. Musically his influences  range from talents such as Jackie Wilson, Sizzla Kalonji, Jah-Cure to Tarrus Riley, hoping to one day collaborate and share stage credits with them

Jamar Rolando McNaughton, using the moniker Chronixx, has ignited a torch in people's hearts the world over and is confidently lighting the path for an entire generation of youths to rediscover roots and culture.

Born October 10, 1992, Chronixx was musically nurtured from an early age by his father, the artist Chronicle, and grew up surrounded by the likes of Burro Banton, Norris Man and Gregory Isaacs. This was before 'Little Chronicle' benefited from the mentorship of Danny Browne with whom he recorded his first tune in 2003. His remarkable ascension in the music industry was in full effect when he began harmonizing for artists such as Lutan Fyah and providing production assistance for tracks sung by Konshens, Munga Honorable, Popcaan and others.

Today, Chronixx is a respected artist in his own right after his career was stimulated by the unfortunate passing of both his blood brother in 2007 and his brother-in-arms, Lil' J.O.E., in 2010. He decided during that period of grief to bypass the difficulties of a young producer seeking external talent by, instead, channeling his energy wholeheartedly as a vocalist. Thankfully, early and unwavering support was received from Zincfence Records producer Romaine 'Teflon' Arnett, who was the first to urge Chronixx to sing the lyrics he was writing for others.

The first EP, Hooked on Chronixx, was released in 2010 and immediately put the budding artist on the radar of music lovers and industry heads alike. Among its 7 tracks, 'Start A Fyah,' 'Capitalist' (featuring Infinite) and 'Behind Curtain' stood out as a fan favorites, reaching far beyond Jamaican shores. Meanwhile, 'Warrior' became Chronixx's first official video and served to alert many more to his arrival.

Chronixx toured for the first time in 2013 when he went to Europe with his own band. Soon afterward, he bestowed a name upon this carefully assembled musical crew: Zincfence Redemption. Altogether, their fascinating stage presence has elevated the Chronixx experience to new and ever increasing heights.

Also in 2013, he and his team were Jamaica's only representation in Nairobi, where he performed as a Peace Ambassador ahead of Kenya's general elections. The next year, he found himself in New York City where he participated in a reggae and jazz series together with living legends Ernest Ranglin and Monty Alexander. By this time, Chronixx had established new and renewed working connections with Sly & Robbie, King Jammy, Leroy Sibbles and, again, Danny Browne.

The Dread & Terrible Project was released in April 2014 with seven tracks plus three dub versions, immediately topping both the Billboard and iTunes reggae charts. Neither an album nor an EP, the Project also includes a short film based on one of its tracks, 'Rastaman Wheel Out.' The film was directed by "The Guru" Ras Kassa and has received high critical acclaim. The hit single, 'Here Comes Trouble' can also be found on The Dread & Terrible Project.

With so much accomplished in so short a time, the world is bracing for greater wonders from this young man who walks with an old soul. For Chronixx himself, music is a mission and history is being made everyday still.
