Another composition recorded before the war. I hope one day I will return to my home studio. Any support from you is much appreciated on these extremely hard times for our country, our family. 
I could have recorded much new music for the last 9 months... unless russians came to our yard to "save" us with their tanks, missiles, bombs and war planes at 4 a.m. on Feb 24th. And yes, they saved us from our house, from our normal life, from our dreams and plans. They saved my elderly parents from their home and peaceful life in retiring, saved my daughter from happy childhood, from school, from her friends and vacation by the sea. We'll never forget and never forgive it! I'm sure that russia will get what it deserves - each rocket they launch on Ukraine will turn to another 10 years of disaster for their cowardly people.

Quatuor Dance

first draft of movt 2, Symphony III. The choirs are all moving independently in tempo: decelerando, accelerando. There is a counterpoint of tempo movement. There is parallel tempic motion, oblique, contrary, and similar, both faster and slower. There are also four tunings. Eat your heart out, kids. The music is neither tonal nor atonal, but there are centric moments. The form is not modeled after an 18th century dance, so it's more organic to the tempo changes.

Join My Journey (Extended Version)

It was so fun to collaborate with @elvyadulcimer on our last track Willows Waltz, and it was a pleasure again to explore her beautiful voice as an instrument in an ensemble piece.  The title Idlewild is borrowed from the irrepressible imagination of Anne of Green Gables, and is fitting I think for a track that seeks to capture a feeling of playful fantasy.

SATIE*ESQUE

Sometimes being alone is less lonely than being with other people. This song reveals that feeling. This guy has a night of celebration with a woman, including all the prerequisite elements of eating, dining and intimacy, but in the end it’s an empty liaison where he once again reaches too eagerly for the elusive meaningful, fulfilling relationship, only to come up hungover and empty. There is sarcasm in his comparisons to it being a “paradise amour”. The song features the wonderful pedal steel playing of Dakota Holden, which gives a neat country spin to what is a bit of a hybrid between urban folk and country blues. Confetti is a fun and colorful thing, till you wake up late for work with it lining the inside of your shoes.

Surprised by the rain in the depths of the forest, in the pyrenees, I returned soaked to the skin, but with this picture and some inspiration.

Hypercube is a polytempic polymicrotonal string quartet in four tunings and tempos, 12, 19, 31, and 53 tet, and 96, 76, 124, and 106 BPM,  for my doctorate thesis in 2012. This is a live concert recording of  Neo Quartet from Poland and is performed live in Paris Sept. 17, 2023. Yes, the quartet is using click tracks in personal ear buds from their devices. I worked with them on click tracks and the tunings are fairly good, from three other "mean tone" tunings aside from the 12tet in the first violin, to show the microtonal differences.

I felt that I have to cover all the seasons of the year with my songs.
I have a song about autumn (When the trees change clothes), winter (Winter in Stockholm), and spring (Waiting for the spring to come).
This song is about a wonderful summer day.
I just wonder if there is anybody more who plays the Furch guitar??
