Another composition recorded before the war. I hope one day I will return to my home studio. Any support from you is much appreciated on these extremely hard times for our country, our family. 
I could have recorded much new music for the last 9 months... unless russians came to our yard to "save" us with their tanks, missiles, bombs and war planes at 4 a.m. on Feb 24th. And yes, they saved us from our house, from our normal life, from our dreams and plans. They saved my elderly parents from their home and peaceful life in retiring, saved my daughter from happy childhood, from school, from her friends and vacation by the sea. We'll never forget and never forgive it! I'm sure that russia will get what it deserves - each rocket they launch on Ukraine will turn to another 10 years of disaster for their cowardly people.

Some time ago, I needed to do some thinking about my DTM system and was reviewing my music data.  At that time, I suddenly noticed this song by Mrs Rhymes.  About a year ago, I think.  I had a preliminary recording of my guitar to go along with this wonderful piece.  Remembering that, I played it back and listened.  I didn't like my guitar playing, even though it was just a temporary recording for notes.  I don't think the sounds and phrases I used at that time match the original song.  Compared to that, the original song is still great.  So I grabbed my guitar and started recording.  A few hours later, I was in the process of uploading my freshly finished work here.

The key of this song is C#, and I think that what we should be aware of as a performance style is "B♭m/C# pentatonic".
I do not mix tapping, sweeping, or other fancy playing techniques in my guitar playing with this outstanding piece. I tried to keep the accompaniment very simple. This excellent piece, which I picked up as an example this time, will be finished with two things in mind: "B♭m/C# pentatonic". However, in a blues scale song, one song uses four pentatonic forms. Therefore, first of all, I believe that it is very important to be aware of "two things" on a daily basis and to practice guitar playing repeatedly.

And before we understand it in words, what we value most is the encounter with works and artists that we can continue to enjoy playing along with our favorite music as many times as we want, even ten times if necessary. Right?

Introduction in English:

Recently I met a friend who spent a month in Crete earlier this year. 
As he told me about his wanderings there, I again remembered a drastic experience I had during my stay in Crete thirty years ago. 
During my expeditions through the bare Cretan mountains at that time, I met a young man who had been living in a cave for some time, completely isolated from the world. 
We walked together for a while. He told me that he suffered from psychotic delusions with inner voices torturing him. 
The secluded life here in the mountains would help him to deal with these powerful and alienating voices. 
Nevertheless, he longed so much for a release from this "voice terror". 
When I wanted to visit him again the next day, he was nowhere to be found. 
In all these years I thought of him from time to time, especially since I also meet people here in Berlin again and again who suffer from similar psychotic confusions. 
With this song I try to put myself in the place of these people who suffer so terribly and are still largely misunderstood

Hello… so have you ever noticed certain things about yourself that never change? This song, ‘Just Like I Always Do’ is about that very thing. I found myself  outside the other day, playing with rivulets of snow melt. Making channels with a rake, for the water to run down and I laughed… my feet were soaking wet and I was having a grand old time. Reminded me of a time in kindergarten, when I arrived late to school, soaked to the bone, as I was playing in the rain along the way. So that playful side of me has not changed at all. I also noticed, like flowing water, how vital it is for me to keep moving. A fluidity when it comes to living and learning about life. Recently, singing has been like that for me. Bear with me on this. A little backstory: As a kid, I had a brief stint in my middle school choir. I did not want to join the choir, that’s for sure. The music teacher had picked us out, after brief singing auditions. After our first performance, my mother, God rest her soul, told me I did not have to go back to choir anymore, if I did not want to. Out of the 50 kids on stage, I was the only one not singing. I just looked down so no one could see my mouth… except my eagle-eyed mom. Simple as that, I was done with it. There were other things I wanted to do as a precociously rebellious kid, running around the neighborhood, as it were. Now, half a century later, I have been learning to sing on my own. It has not been easy uncovering that latent voice of mine. Looking back, sometimes I wish I had stuck with it as a kid. So about a decade or so ago, this dude I worked with asked me if I’d show him some stuff on guitar. His mom was a musician and music teacher and he grew up with music in his life. He was always singing and playing guitar. As we hung out, he noticed I never sang and asked me why. After basically dodging his question, he told me the only thing stopping me from singing was me. Talk about a hard lesson to swallow. So now, bringing us up to speed, I had some fun exploring my nascent singing voice on this song. The image is of me and Garnet running the hills in early Spring. MEDITATION 5 : MOUNTAIN WHISPER

A trip down to Rosarito did not go according to plan. From leaving my phone in a taxi, to discovering my bank account is frozen, getting arrested in the hotel lobby over a little taxi misunderstanding, spending the night in jail, paying the cop forty dollars to let us sneak out the back door, hitchhiking back to the boarder while insanely hungover... You could not possibly fit it all into one song. A vacation to remember.

Overstayed My Welcome

Firstly on easy listening 6/4 bars, I cut some notes out of the main theme so as to give it dynamism, and finally obtained a prime amalgam of 17 quarter notes. I hid any recognizable thing in the accompaniment, and for the organic lines (voice and guitars) I tried the strong rhythm would not fix too much the melodies, first paying a lot of attention, and finally ... just letting me go.
