Spent many long nights pulling all the records I wanted to play to serve as a document of this lil show so far--faves and influences, deep eyes-closed dancefloor cuts, smoked out rave jams, euphoric downtempo drum trax... the sounds I've had the pleasure to showcase as well as a way to feel how those disparate sounds have evolved into something sprawling + broad yet (I hope) cohesive + holistic, representing the power of psychedelic electronic music alongside more frenetic, 'club-ready' tracks.

Ivano Tetelepta - Mix For Fear Of Flying (2012)

An exploration of springtime sounds and textures, with a particular focus on rain, sunshine and choo choo trains. Inspired by the first weeks of March, meandering through London, watching the blossoms ignite.

Another traverse from quiet, beatless and spacey soundscapes, into deeper and pumpin’. Pack you cagoule, and have a wander. 

Recorded in the studio on a pair of beaten up CDJs and a well used mixer.

Had the pleasure of playing 'out' for the first time this weekend. It wasn't recorded at the time but I gave it a re-record as soon as I got home, while the feeling of that party was still fresh in my heart.

Barring a couple of different choices, a couple of corrupted files, a little more patience and a lot less to drink - this is what I played after dinner at 11pm this Saturday.

Recorded at home on 2x XDJ-700s and a Xone 22.

Shouts to Ross TLK, JJ, Toxido Mask, John 'Smash' Nash, Ed Krywald, Flatcap and IGNI for the energy, equipment, encouragement and inspiration. All that good stuff.
