Was feeling real lonely and sad. I sat down to produce at it dissolved only to come back later full throttle, and then I wrote to it and recorded. Was real cathartic somehow throughout the process. Stoked. And now we mixing outkasts ms Jackson in class ha! What a great song that is. Excited to continue to implement what I’m learning in da Musik.

I wrote a story about prehistoric peeps finding mushies and how it affected the way they thought and interacted. This is that arranged into song.

The bones crack — marrow heat in the chest.
I don’t think. I follow. I hunt.
Matriarch north — I do what she wants.

Sky too wide, wolves too near,
Hard world hum, I swallow my fear.
Snowline track, spear dull but clear,
Lost that rabbit but the gods drew near.

Red caps gleam in the frost and glow,
Mushroom mind start talkin’ low,
Bitterness bloom then a bright unknown,
Body dissolve, I’m a voice alone.

Time split open, melted bone,
Trees lean in like they know my tone.
Wind start breathin’, rhythm grown,
I fall inside — I become my own.

I see the fire in the frost, I’m not alone,

Back by the fire, boy crush bug,
I stop his hand — feel holy love.
Matriarch stare like I’m not one of us,
She see that change — she don’t trust.

We move, we hunt, we know what’s shown,
Hear the truth in the marrow, the moan.
Fire talk now, whisper in stone,
We the dream that the dirt still owns.

Mushrooms wait patient, kind —
old gods sittin’ in the back of my mind.
Charcoal, blood, spit, and mud —
Paint the sky when it whisper love.

Stag with eyes, woman of smoke,
Wall drink spirit till the edges soak.
Some laugh, some cry, one stays —
Sun come back and the paint still prays.

She took the red cap, swallowed dawn,
Sat in silence till her fear was gone.
Now the tribe see shapes reborn,
Cry, scream, carve the storm.

Still we move, still hunt, still bleed,
But the fire got voice and the smoke got need.
Man cross ice, no war, no greed,
Just nod, just peace — new creed.

We are not only bone, not only teeth,
We are the rhythm the stone still breathes.
Shadow and memory, color and heat,
Fire behind the eye — that’s me.

Leave my hand on the cave wall…
Not a drawing — a promise call.
