Our next guest belongs to a very special subsect of the electronic community. Namely, those who don't take themselves too seriously, but still deliver some of the most relentlessly captivating sets around. Part-time selector, part-time meme creator, and full-time Psychotherapist, Vincent Neumann has one of the most refreshing and honest voices in the dance music community today. Born and raised in Leipzig, he honed his skills as a resident at Distillery, earning himself a reputation as a renowned DJ with his sharp ear for underappreciated cuts. Since his humble beginnings, he has become a regular at Berghain and created one of the most followed techno meme accounts, technothegathering, where he uses his humor and knowledge of magic cards to socially critique and mirror the happenings of the underground music scene. His sets are equally critical in that they exemplify a taste that does not follow any trends, but rather a genuine spirit focused on music for music's sake. We are thrilled to bring you an exceptional two-hour mix from this special character, featuring everything from Octo Octa to Tool.

"Given that the interview had quite a few questions reflecting on different moments in my musical trajectory, I wanted to share something that matched with that. This is a mix I made some time ago, but never did anything with. It is a very understated and simple mix that is really focused on the tracks themselves. Most of the music I selected has been with me for a long time and has meaning for me. The mix is called ‘safe harbour’; it is meant for a time of rest, a period to reflect on what has happened, to think about what has changed and what remains constant. It was composed in a more deliberate fashion, seeking to distil a specific set of feelings. The mix is one for late at nights, when time fades away."

The fifth podcast of the live series of Melantónia is by Yóhan (Artscope/ KR). 
He pursues making music by turning rough, industrial, non-musical noisy sounds into silky and sophisticated moods.
He tries to express the emotions of today through refining all the noises and mechanical sounds surrounding us, the modern people.
He creates deep, dark but warm texture of ambient space and put experimental and industrial sounds to express his deepest pain and emotions.
He tries to find new sounds and new combinations of sounds.

He released two albums from his own label, Artscope and is new albums are about to release from Secuencias Temporalis and Diffuse Reality in this year.

Hellu ladies and gents. It’s time for another edition of our mix series. So let’s jump on the OUFFFCAST train! To guide us on our musical journey we’re proud to present one of Portugal’s finest selectors - Manata.

A well known face in the Portuguese underground scene, Manata is a dedicated record collector with a penchant for mixing the old with the new. Back in the 2014 he won the competition of the Clube de Criativos de Portugal, together with Bloop Recordings. From then on Manata has been on a steady rise, having played in clubs and at parties all across the country, carefully honing his craft and diligently adding to his ever-increasing record collection.

In 2019 he released his first track on one of Berlin’s freshest up-and-coming labels Kaizenrecordsberlin. In the same year, he also went on to launch his very own vinyl only label Nugs On Board, which now boasts an impressive roster of producers and remixers such as Robbenspierre, Dormald, Tiago Marques, Roberto Manolio, Phil Evans, Giammarco Orsini and Jacobo Lantini.
