DC The Don creates without borders. The Milwaukee-born, LA-based rapper is one of the most creatively daring artists in hip-hop today. His genre-blurring discography presents a spectrum of ever-changing sounds, anchored by DC’s precise and direct delivery. For him, being different is a strength. This has been the driving force behind his music, evidenced by the former XXL Freshman’s do-it-all dynamic. From rage rap, to punk and pop, DC’s swift rise is a testament to his wildly experimental and massively appealing ingenuity. Since delivering his first song “Everything 1K” in 2017, he has ascended from budding next-gen rapper to a burgeoning powerhouse. And his 2023 album, FUNERAL, personified this meaningful change succinctly. 2024’s SACRED HEART 2 (+) not only catalyzed a massive year for DC, but it also cleared the runway for the June-released EP 2012 – a three-song set that’s striking upon first listen and even better on repeat visits.
