AB Playlist 061 Part 1

Back in 1814, when chemist, Humphrey Davey acquired an 18" lens and used it to focus the suns rays onto a small, uncut diamond, setting fire to it and leaving behind a somewhat unattractive, black crust in the process, he was not only demonstrating that diamonds are a form of carbon but also inadvertently laying down the inspirational foundation for this slightly odd piece of electronica that was to be produced some two centuries later by yours truly. One can never know of course but I'd like to think that HD would've approved of the experimental nature of this composition.

The artwork is by very talented collage artist, Harl Vind and is entitled "2.26".

Acoustic Musings

Stefan K - Rock Flexible (Official) shared an inspiring instrumental, asking if anyone would like to contribute some vocals. I found the piece to have an ominous atmosphere that builds into something more triumphant. This is my take on it which is a rather dark ecological wake up call (as if we should still need that!) with the invaluable help of Dick Vestdijk (Oorlab) with whom I’ve worked on ten other collaborations. Hello Soundcloud, thanks for the Listens, Likes and Support. Im from Melbourne Australia, I have been playing guitar for many years now and played in two bands during the 80's & 90's (STOLEN CAR original) & (STORM cover),both bands never released any material. Since 2010 i have been writing songs and tunes and recording them in my music room (3rd Bedroom), i play Guitar, Bass, Keys, BFD2 Drums(programmed)and Vocals on all of my songs which i class as Demo's, I love all types of music but Hard Rock, Rock to Alternative appeals to me most.
