This Covid thing has me Just Staying Home an awful lot .So I write chord changes and improvise whatever comes to mind Having fun playing all the instruments myself .Thats my late brother Cliff on the left with me at one of the many parties we played at .I was channeling his love of jazz and thinking about our two guitars playing off each other as I recorded these tracks.

One Lonely Guitar Track Asking For Collaberation

The Movie was Mondo Cane and this popular music came from the soundtrack .A very nice piece of music from a strange and controversial movie. Originally done done by  the Kai Winding Orchestra, but this my guitar version. I tried to get my backing guitar to simulate the trombones in Kai ,s band.

A contemporary song in a jazz style, recorded live in isolation mode.

Always loved this tune after hearing  Chet  Atkins brother Jim sing on an old Atkins album.Jim was a jazz guitarist that played with the Les Paul jazz group so he was no slouch on guitar either. Al put thythm and lead on a backing track for this one.

I Can't Help It(If I'm Still In Love With You)

Fell in love with Guitar sounds since I first heard Duane Eddy twanging out Rebel Rouser. Then I heard  Chet Atkins Hi Fi in Focus album. This was back around 1960.Me and my brother Cliff got guitars as soon as we could and started learning ourselves to play some tunes. Now about 60 years later I am still loving it. I lost Cliff last year but his jazz loving influence is still present in my playing. You can just never stop learning new stuff and ways of playing when you love the sound a guitar makes. My son Bryce also fell in love with guitar and he also is a fine singer. Il be also posting some songs that have been able play along with him.I  just hope there are people who will enjoy the music I play and post, thankyou Al Gibbs
