Robert Hammon's "The Elephant"

The Elephant is a story from the perspective of a madman just moments before a tragedy, as he takes a moment to ask one simple question. Did you see the elephant in the room, or are you blind? 

I wrote this song as a challenge to myself to write and produce a song in a month. On January 1st, this song was not written, but I put up a post on social media saying that I would release it in a months time. My deadline approach paid off, and here's my first ever single.

As it stated, I was hated, now elated.

Robert Hammon - The Elephant

Meritorious is a concept album delivered in a more narrative way, rather through lyrics. Our narrative sets out to encourage women in the field of audio as the current lack of female representation is something that hits close to us. Our story was developed through an anonymous survey which we curated and published, and thus gave us information which inspired our story and adds reality to the context.
