The song,  «As if the Night Could Forget»  is  an exploration of  love,  trauma, and the tension between desire and care — highlighting how a trauma can, unfortunately, distort intimacy. At its heart, it tells the story of a relationship where one partner seeks pain and roughness — possibly as a way to feel loved or to reenact old wounds — while the other partner refuses to cross that line, instead offering to protect rather than harm even when asked.  The song is about a way to redefine love away  from destructive cycles — choosing to support someone through their pain without exacerbating it, and demonstrating love through kindness and respect rather than aggression and domination. The song is dedicated to Liette and to all those who suffer from PTSD who are in need of healing.
