Born in the East Rand ( Johannesburg,
South Africa ), Rephlex ( Tumelo ) started
playing back in 2005 under the leadership
of Dj Pcat and Sir Shimzo.


Early 2006 to late 2007 He played on
Channel 0 ( The 411 show ) and Go Chart
now known as Hit Refresh on DSTV as a
guest dj.
 He has shared the stage with the likes of Rocco, Christos, Vinny, Ralf Gum,
Just Mo and got a chance to open for Lars Behrenroth from Deeper Shades of House at The Place in Heidelburg. He has played
around his hood and other places. ( Chillas
Pub and Grill, Bahamas, The Venue,
Dinangwe, Qbar, Small Kitchen Bar )
He's a former member of Deep Concern which he joined 2010. They started to produce their
own songs and got to release 2 Eps on Afrodesiamp3. 1 of their
single was included on an online House
compilation compiled by LM VIBES from
Spain. Rephlex also Co hosted a radio show with DJ Winter on Ekfm 103.60 ( Community
Radio Station ) every Saturday at 22h00 –
01h00 ( The Sound Survey Show )

He Went Solo in 2012 And now He runs The Phlex Lab where he produces his own music and also hosts The Phlex Lab Sessions podcast where they trying to push Deep House/Deep Tech.

He has built his name and is now the
most respected Deep/Deep Tech dj in his Home Town.

DJ to record label boss & producer some 29 years since the 1st imports arrived from Chicago. Dave also works with long time friend DJ & Producer Tony Cannon and together they are Two 4House. 
Dave has solo and Two 4House releases signed to a host of great labels including the legendary DJ International Records, Marshall Jefferson's Open House records SoulShift Music & his own imprint SoulDeep Inc. Records.

Dave has promoted with close friends and supported for the likes of Marshall Jefferson, 808 State & A Guy Called Gerald and he regularly appears on world wide radio stations with his eclectic mixes of Deep House.

Dave owns and runs "SoulDeep Inc. Records" which  is a UK based label and features Established artists and new blood alike and is an exciting venture with nearly 60 releases on the label - Always on the hunt for talent  and new music You can hit my inbox with demos etc.
